Breathing Life
Into lungs that singe
With dust rife
Blowing winds
Across the tides that ripple
With the waves of change
Weep the tears
Of togetherness
We confess
In duress
To moments of lone weakness
When target seems stalled
Mirror walled
The strength I muster

Land of the Dragon
Griffin wakes
In my mind
His tales my seconds rewind
The first wave pulsing
Chicken hen
The countdown pursues

Burnt timbers
Fire raging match to torch

Smooth quiver
Cold shiver
Our bodies traces river
The sheets like spent tides

Swords to rust

Month of the nine trees
Grows branches
Into skies
The Angels now hear the cries

The city harsh is
