## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
Playing with the Light explores the delicate interplay between perception, illusion and understanding. Like flames held in naked hands, the same reality can warm or scorch, illuminate or cast deceptive shadows. Through renewal, love and the longing for freedom, the mind gathers fragments of experience, reshaping their meaning with every change of perspective. Yet even hindsight offers no definitive conclusion: addendum and afterthought circle one another, as mind and soul connect in an endless dance of interpretation. Where does understanding begin, and where does it end, when the mind's own tendrils are forever playing with the light?
We hold flames With our naked hands Worded hope Destiny They warm our frames or scorch them One matter twin views
[Verse] We hold flames with our naked hands Worded hope, Destiny in sands They could warm our frames or scorch them One matter, twin views from it stem
[Verse] A beacon to follow the strands of Phoenix Purity that stands We gather the feathers fallen as the bird renews unbeaten
[Verse] Reckoning from future displayed Understand Glorious past played Misconception now a new trend Gathered momentum to pretend
[Chorus] Addendum, Wistful points declared as the mind and soul connect flared Afterthought revealed in hindsight Minds tendrils, Playing with the Light
[Verse] Hold my hand, Feel the energy Let me infuse you sweetness spree My lifeline Crosses line of heart It breathes days before I depart
[Verse] I fear not, we shall travel safe entering morrows without chafe Swift and soft like a summer breeze The Hearts in peace and Minds at ease
[Verse] Golden sands speak of timeless age Only love is left, gone the rage Look close and see the weeping dove She cries for freedom from above
[Chorus] Addendum, Wistful points declared as the mind and soul connect flared Afterthought revealed in hindsight Minds tendrils, Playing with the Light

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
Woman looks at the many faces of womanhood — strength and vulnerability, endurance and suffering, creation and sacrifice. The song reflects on a history in which women have been diminished, abused and defined by others, yet have continued to carry life, love and an extraordinary capacity to endure. It honours the force that persists beneath them
Beaten, abused in many a name Always it is you who takes the blame Looking down on you they invoke your shame Woman, nothing for you will be the same
[Verse] Beaten, abused in many a name Always it is you who takes the blame Looking down on you they invoke your shame Woman, nothing for you will be the same
[Verse] Brazilian girl in Favelas you dwell of many a seed I see you swell Good thinkers of you do not think so well Question of morals, your body, you sell
[Verse] Afghani aunt, hidden by thy hood Frail, forgotten, so misunderstood Trying to hide what a pious woman should they say without it you would not be good
[Chorus] Pointing fingers, they provoke your shame attempting to make you take the blame Enslaved, accused, yet keep alive your flame Woman let nothing ever be the same
[Verse] Pakistani cousin on death row In this earth right now, here and below for you no hope will ever chance to glow They say that violence you were first to sow
[Verse] Indian sister I cry, share your plight Born, not much to your parents’ delight A frail baby, hope glimmered, die you might save them dowry, days like an endless night
[Verse] GAIA, ancient mother, hear our voice We toil and care no time to rejoice A millenary fate, no free thought, no choice a state befitting a novel by Joyce
[Chorus] Pointing fingers, they provoke your shame attempting to make you take the blame Enslaved, accused, yet keep alive your flame Woman let nothing ever be the same

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
Freelancer reflects on the freedom to think beyond inherited certainties. Through symbols of shadow and light, angels and dice, the poem explores the tension between conformity and inner discernment, questioning rigid beliefs while embracing the humility that accompanies higher awareness. It celebrates the courage to stand between opposing certainties, trusting the deeper flow of destiny and recognising that true freedom lies not in choosing sides, but in remaining open to wisdom wherever it may lead.
They work blind Their tools are hammers Mouth unkind Sullen face Words they spew are of disgrace For crushed soul stammers
[Verse] Within the backyards, they work blind Their tools are hammers, mouth unkind For crushed soul stammers, sullen face The words they spew are of disgrace
[Verse] Shadow race, they crawl the Earth slow It is not theirs, the High and Low Like sparrow announcing the rain, they scrape relentless tides of pain
[Chorus] Who should win? In love all is fair Questions brim within, choice to bear Leaving it to chance, I ponder Reckless, dices cast, Freelancer
[Verse] Others fly, Wings beacon of light illuminating deep the night Round the clock the daytime they ply soaring Angels high in the sky
[Verse] Merry hearts, their high-pitched songs float silken sound ushered from the throat Life stills as it starts above gloom Their souls filled gladness, they shun doom
[Verse] I stand poised, neither here nor there in between Light’s slices repaired There is more to it than is seen Balance to lead dance slow, pristine
[Chorus] Who should win? In love all is fair Questions brim within, choice to bear Leaving it to chance, I ponder Reckless, dices cast, Freelancer

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
Days turn into years as we gather treasures, lineage and dreams of tomorrow. Yet what we cling to can become the roots that bind us. A reflection on the cycles of attachment, loss and the strange freedom found when life's fires force us to let go.
Cycles start Within the days count Sundays end In Mondays Twirling through Fridays tolling To days of the King
[Verse] Cycles start within the days count Sundays end in Mondays, surmount Twirling through the Fridays tolling to the gilded days of the King
[Verse] Hidden coins, Treasure my crowning Golden steel shines at heel drowning in water that is ankle deep from the weaknesses that we keep
[Verse] Fruit of loins, baskets plentiful Chosen few features beautiful Morrows promises, green in hue ripened by the sun and the dew
[Chorus] We juggle solitary spoils Uprooted from the burning coils When the fires invade the trees the sudden burning of roots frees
[Verse] They depart like the rolling stones and carve pathways in waters’ tones Downhill slide, they are left to glide gasping fast, unbridled their ride
[Verse] Ebb and flow of Love, like the tide sporadic in touch, side by side Wandering slow, face reaching back when the storms turn the skies pitch black
[Chorus] We juggle solitary spoils Uprooted from the burning coils When the fires invade the trees the sudden burning of roots frees
