Where We Dreamt Once Upon a Time is a meditation on remembrance, unity and the fluid nature of consciousness. The poem invites the reader into a timeless landscape where the boundaries between self and soul dissolve and humanity rediscovers its shared origins. It celebrates the quiet transformation that begins when trust replaces separation, reminding us that the deepest journeys are not towards somewhere new, but towards a place our spirit has always known
Come to me with your weathered rhyme We will draw on waters of skies Washing away darkness of lies The cleaning rosemary and thyme
[Verse] Never discarded mind fickle See me in the slightest trickle I will relay the veins of lore Tales begotten for ever more
[Verse] Come to me with your weathered rhyme the cleaning rosemary and thyme We will draw on waters of skies washing away darkness of lies
[Chorus] Gathered by call tribe liquefies Soul in one to higher realms flies where we dreamt once upon a Time Amplified portals in Heart chime
[Verse] Count the prayers of peace in me My backbone beads of rosary My ribcage a cauldron of gust From deepest wells I summon trust
[Verse] The wells rungs of ladders gathered the children of Earth I mothered Raised to heavens they set me free Cells bearers of infinity
[Chorus] Gathered by call tribe liquefies Soul in one to higher realms flies where we dreamt once upon a Time Amplified portals in Heart chime

The ship sails The fallen sea wails Burnt willows My pillows Embers flushing on my cheek Glistening tears of meek
[Verse] The fallen sea wails, burnt willows The ship sails, my head on pillows Embers flushing red on my cheek where lie glistening tears of meek
[Verse] Resurrect the Enchanted Times filled with magic read through my rhymes Under the new moon, stand erect Shaking off the dust of neglect
[Verse] Of stardust, of the falling light Of dwarfed remnants of the lost might Silver trails hovering within Earthen reckonings, hope drawn thin
[Chorus] Twined, free Hummingbirds, we sing low Frail, inside there is a soft glow As heart grows, it expands in bricks Feet strike three, the Dawn strikes at six
[Verse] Wing that sings over the rooftops Night kissed flight, knight in gale who hops The feathers strewn a path of clues Daydream bright, withered chains to lose
[Verse] Twirl me slow through the waking tides Peace blossoms while the Horseman rides Multiply fast where he divides Our bosom anchor, secret bides
[Chorus] Twined, free Hummingbirds, we sing low Frail, inside there is a soft glow As heart grows, it expands in bricks Feet strike three, the Dawn strikes at six

They work blind Their tools are hammers Mouth unkind Sullen face Words they spew are of disgrace For crushed soul stammers
[Verse] Within the backyards, they work blind Their tools are hammers, mouth unkind For crushed soul stammers, sullen face The words they spew are of disgrace
[Verse] Shadow race, they crawl the Earth slow It is not theirs, the High and Low Like sparrow announcing the rain, they scrape relentless tides of pain
[Chorus] Who should win? In love all is fair Questions brim within, choice to bear Leaving it to chance, I ponder Reckless, dices cast, Freelancer
[Verse] Others fly, Wings beacon of light illuminating deep the night Round the clock the daytime they ply soaring Angels high in the sky
[Verse] Merry hearts, their high-pitched songs float silken sound ushered from the throat Life stills as it starts above gloom Their souls filled gladness, they shun doom
[Verse] I stand poised, neither here nor there in between Light’s slices repaired There is more to it than is seen Balance to lead dance slow, pristine

She wears me Like cloak of the night Deep the probe Velvet robe I give in to her dark might No desire to fight
[Verse] She wears me, like cloak of the night I give in slow to her dark might Deep the probe, no desire to fight Velvet robe shuttering the light
[Verse] She gifts me Honey from the bees Poisoned vines, heady wines to please From the deep millenary caves hidden lair that the reaper paves
[Verse] Dark and Light, we are Twined voices High and low, we offer choices Of steps in advance, Oracles Slow compounded the miracles
[Chorus] I wear her like remnants of fur naked flesh, stretched afresh, defer Ceremonial centuries Shredded time pieces now at ease
[Verse] Divide infinite, Prime numbers bear repercussions, deep slumbers Nails across the blackboards, they rake Lessons to be learnt, they awake
[Verse] I gift her the past reckonings of morrows drawn new beginnings, inside new future built in air; the knowledge she has once been there
[Chorus] I wear her like remnants of fur naked flesh, stretched afresh, defer Ceremonial centuries Shredded time pieces now at ease

[Verse] I composed a song of perhaps You and I, eternal, no traps A pair of hummingbirds free sigh shimmering flight in the night’s sky
[Verse] Decomposed flesh flung back at me bitter truth of this realm to flee The vanishing sweet corpses face Earth-bound fall, locked in death’s embrace

[Verse] You and I rotating dust specks Settled in, deep within gold flecks where the bare core burgeoned again into soft petals grown in glen
[Verse] Purple bloom on tree of whispers Endless hum intoned by lispers Deep in nooks of the heart that stores Carefree melodies fill our cores
[Verse] Ethereal, we rise through the airs Whiff of scent, heart unbent that shares pollinized sparkles of sun scape forming of our souls the true shape

[Chorus] Reaching sky, welding through the Eye Chests that sigh watch the kites that fly Restored through brink of lullaby the fleeting Runner in the rye
[Verse] Tears and scars, redeeming what’s ours Bending the Stars while twining Mars Holding still pulsating powers we write within the darkest hours
[Verse] Guides walk with us bearing lanterns We follow as throbbing heart yearns for knowledge that in our souls burns casts away the Earth-bound sojourns

Three fingers Woven in the skin Define me Pink contours The flash seen without detours As the heat rises
[Verse] As the heat rises find within three fingers woven in the skin Define me within Pink contours Sudden flash seen without detours

[Verse] Dead freedom, Measures of the sleep The company that False we keep Lulling us into the fields deep Where we know that orphans will weep
[Verse] Writhing frames, the wilting will slain Mummies preserved where we had lain tucked into the folds of our scars Our bodies glowing fallen stars

This poem follows the solitary path of a soul carrying ancient mysteries through time, where dragons become guardians, silence becomes wisdom, and every river returns to the oceans. It is a reflection on choosing inner freedom over belonging and discovering that the greatest release comes not from the world, but from the quiet voice within.
The golden dragons multiplied Within the monsoons of the wild The Gods of dark that we reviled Shed weight of cloaks in which they lied
[Verse] The golden dragons multiplied within the monsoons of the wild The Gods of dark that we reviled shed weight of cloaks in which they lied
[Verse] The secrets you and me confide They grow like the stream meek and mild within the bosom of the child through rivers oceans amplified

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
"Not at Home" explores the strange feeling of belonging everywhere and nowhere at once. Nature mirrors the inner landscape as seasons, blood, poison and renewal become metaphors for the slow transformation of consciousness. Beneath the weariness lies a quiet certainty that home is not a place but a forgotten state of being rediscovered through awareness as the journey continues toward the Source.
The garden Withers from the sun It once breathed Shining bright The same rays give life and death All is in dosage
[Verse] The garden withers from the sun The same rays give life and death spun shining bright, all in dosage weaved Freedom in meadows it once breathed
[Verse] Drop by drop, even venom cures through effect of poison endured Coursing through its lines, plastic face renews slow the lost youthful grace
[Verse] Drip by drip, the blood exchanges Old for new, they were few sages Now they scurry throughout Earth scarred Ants in royal hills crawling marred
[Verse] Pulse by pulse, we measure other Muffled nothingness to smother Of all the lost feelings the sum The heartbeat a keen constant drum
[Verse] Pace by pace I gain momentum Consistence the known tedium Daily inching towards lost hope while this Earth I roam tired, to cope
[Chorus] Not at Home, invisible dome compresses me into a pome Giant lookout post suppresses the eyes in all the Cypresses
[Verse] Not at Home, lost in wilderness Green ivy enchains me suppressed into the thickest of the fear As I look for keys to hope steer
[Verse] Not at Home, the padlock still creaks though I oil its hinges that leak Stealing myself through thin holes’ slits for a glance at home as it flits
[Verse] The elders, they make slow their way Brash generations live today their young minds waver as they churn Soul cringes upon the return
[Verse] Not at Home, no lessons are learnt Humourless plaything, bridges burnt I chase my tail like a fool Amnesia the only tool
[Chorus] Not at Home, invisible dome compresses me into a pome Giant lookout post suppresses The eyes in all the Cypresses

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
From spring's first blossoms to winter's frozen caverns, the changing seasons become a metaphor for the inner landscape we all traverse. What begins as a search for the right destination slowly transforms into the discovery that the journey itself is the reward. In surrendering expectations, the self is weathered, renewed and quietly returned to its Source.
I picked daisies
From fields of wild bloom
Setting course on springtime’s kiss
Seasons gone amiss
Weather man’s honey moon

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS
[Verse]
I picked daisies from fields of wild bloom
dove into weather man’s honey moon
setting course firmly on Springtime’s kiss
shed memories of seasons gone amiss
[Verse]
Pale straws whirling around summer days
Relentlessly wayward are the ways
Perhaps too soon, Autumn leaves flocked tight
Random play of seasons of half light
[Verse]
Leaves joining hands, pining for the rake
Obedient, the waning piles hand stake
counting on the rain to grant winner
Renewal in the moss stretched thinner
[Chorus]
Check the boxes, sit back, set the course
All is ready, return to the Source
Stormy weather is the secret key
Relax, all is set for the journey
[Verse]
Winter spelt ice in caverns of glass
winding weaving through the underpass
crossing through mountains in heathen lands
like castle built on the desert sands
[Verse]
Midsummer mind, in between seasons
looking back at spring’s quiet treasons
Under feet quicksand yet not a loss
Looking forth, trust outcomes, take a toss
[Chorus]
Check the boxes, sit back, set the course
All is ready, return to the Source
Stormy weather is the secret key
Relax, all is set for the journey
