One one thousand clear
30 July 2016

Days go by
Like centuries spin
Outnumbered
Cornered wolves
Grope at chances woven thin
Revolution’s din
The heart sways
Cacophony’s ways
Imprinting
Blood vessels
Sailing within like mermaids
The sea shore pervades
Thoughts of you
Hovering like breath
Life and Death
Tilting point
When connection is disjoint
Broken synapses
Relapses
Like a cancer grow
Fabrics tear
From the wear
The Heart a thousand beats counts
Before it kick starts
Drilling might
One one thousand clear
Flesh surmounts
Massive dose
Liquid breath on my repose
Tears streaming backwards
Flight onwards
The pull and the push
I am Void
I am Light
Within me lies every fight
Simmers like embers
Reading of the poem:

For Now – Thomas Feiner
Scars and Glasses – Thomas Feiner and Anywhen
The Siren Songs – Thomas Feiner and Anywhen

If only my fights would simmer like embers…
Thank you Marissa. I am sure your fights are rare and well worth your time
If only…
If we look closer, we always realise we are harder on ourselves than on others 🙂
Yes, for sure!
Holding on to life?
Perhaps a feeble attempt of it or a jolt to the heart. I had a dream this night which involved among other strangeness a shot of adrenalin straight to the heart to a body which could have been me or could have been some other and I have tried to render that impression amongst other ravings as usual with my dreamtime poetry 🙂
You succeeded
Thank you ever so much Derrick. I have a series of other poems that I was preparing this morning. They are very much related to the same series of dreams this night. I hope you will like them when you find time to read them and I hope people are not too upset at me filling up their inboxes for those who follow me 😀
🙂
