A place of Beauty
29 November 2016

Pick up the pieces
Myriads of shards are talking
Their language broken
Bear with me token
Female Prometheus runs
Flame a blazing pyre
Gyrating the wasps
Zero in on the flesh cut
In between bloodlines
We grew swift the vines
Dragons eggs incubated
Within wombs of dark
Lift me from shadows
The half-light crushes all will
Petrified gallows
Instill in me dream
Shower within writhing mind
A place of Beauty
Reading of the poem:

For the Dreamers – Evi Vine

So weird you mentioned Prometheus. I was thinking of writing a poem about the death of my love, but the fact that I would eternally be like Prometheus, my former love eating my insides every morning, over and over and over again.
That does not sound like a cheerful outlook 🙂
It’s all good. I’m resilient. My heart is super strong and super big, so I will love again
Good for you. I am glad you have that feature and so you will love again
Sharply beautiful
Thank you Derrick 🙂
