Écrit après un diagnostic de cancer qui devait être infirmé quelques semaines plus tard, Temps de vague est né dans cet intervalle étrange où le temps, soudain compté, change de nature. Il s’égrène, s’échappe, ronge et efface, tandis que le corps devient algèbre et que l’esprit cherche refuge dans ses souvenirs. Entre la cellule qui nie et le cœur qui se raconte encore mille contes, le poème explore cette suspension où l’on commence à faire le deuil d’une vie que l’on n’a pourtant pas encore perdue.
