Stigmata

Remnants of the blood

Oozing free

From my wrists

Open palms where there were fists

The fruit in the tree

 

Of life’s shades

We gathered sunsets

From rewards

To regrets

One hand gives the other gets

Highways from the skies

 

True shun lies

The wayward promise

The point miss

Take to spades

Buried corpse Heart to liver

The strong deliver

 

Two coins

They twirl together

Synchronised

Symphony

One dark weight one light feather

Alternate abodes

 

Fear erodes

Semblance of the faith

The meek wait

Their weight stance

Of the pathways in between

The dark and the sheen

 

Love implodes

Where humble meet wrath

Princely names

Playing games

At peaks where torrent explodes

The anger rises in defeat

Designs in blue waves now compete

Child of chatter cheeks in dimples

 

Promise lost the paper crumples

Shards of splinters in my eye meet

Remnants of the yonder heartbeat

Trodden feelings deadwood samples

 

Reaching through the timeless spaces

Vain wane invented memories

Waking sleep for Earthen traces

 

Discovering the height of trees

Movements halted muddled laces

Through darkness and light

Replicate

Pulsation

Vibrating through the three chords

Self Soul Oversoul

 

Stirring thoughts

In pans of morrows

We had cooked

Spiced sorrows

The broth a slow infusion

Heinous perfusion

 

Instilling

A sense of despair

Tool of dark

Distilling

A concentrate of the fear

Keeping the hate near

 

The choices

They make more than man

We fathom

What we can

Sea of possibilities

The weak minds will tease

 

Mind construct

On auto-destruct

Only Heart

Sees life’s way

Death an easier pathway

Slow route to decay

Efforts and prayers

The Dragon

Uncovers

Scales and gills under layers

Mistaken for flesh

 

Blue genies

Sing of oncoming

Nocturnal

Silent flights

When we will roam into nights

Deeper than cyan

 

Man lion

Keeper of the sun

We are one

Under oath

What seeps in one seeps in both

The blazing branches

 

Dining smoke

Ribs a black anthem

He inhales

I exhale

Withered lungs flailing ribcage

Burning in the rage

 

The regrets

They serve no purpose

The chest dark

The heart white

Intervals give me respite

Between mighty breaths

 

In due time

My rhyme will explain

Moonlit skies

They speak of night’s wish

Silent flames

The stars bright

The Time when all sets in right

Falling into place

 

Silken lace

Velveteen instants

Dark aglow

With the light

A million candles whisper

Haunting tapestry

 

Leitmotiv

In the mind voices

They call out

To shadows

They breathe the night to forgive

In places to cure

 

Minds allure

Power a totem

Branded cow

Takes a bow

Corridas for all genders

The new age tenders

 

She waits lone

Her frame silent tomb

Engulfing

Pervading

The night’s thicket like black ink

As the seconds drop

 

Countless times

She rehearses phrase

The one learnt

In a daze

When everything meant something

When promises held

 

True beacon

It is in the flame

That shivers

Yet shimmers

As the white wicker simmers

With remnants of heat

 

The dust shines

In between shadows

Translucent

White traces

Of the decaying matter

Last Summer

I discovered ways

To speak love

Between lines

Weaving melodies and word

Reinventing speech

 

Time runner

I haggled with death

Won over

With a kiss

Many a promise to miss

With scarce borrowed time

 

All things start

Within promises

And die slow

Within breath

Woven with threads of wonder

That run through bright life

 

All that starts

Also has an end

The story

Comes slowly

To a screeching grinding halt

As teeth clench sorrow

 

Gone morrow

Vainly sacrificed

A bet made

Like Dante

Alternate realities

Arrogant belief

 

Vanity lair

Tombstone of the fools

Seen future

Illusion

A game rigged in confusion

Carelessly rolled dice

 

It is done

Lay down the tired head

In cool lands

Where rivers

Cool winter’s heating

 

Instill me silence

From the depths of Mother’s womb

Amnesia’s flowers

 

A pile of memories

Waiting to catch moonlight’s fire
