[Intro]
Rotating spirals in the air
Kaleidoscope of summer
Yellow sun daily beams
Mellow noises in the streams
Springtime in the breeze
A dream for us to seize

[Chorus]
Sliding through window panes
Earthen presence in the stains
Twinkling in the sky they sway
The reeds in the sun they pray
The reeds in the sun

[Verse]
Sunshine’s bloom in the eye
Daffodils rising in the sky
Grass growing soft and sweet
Lips moving as the eyes meet
Remembrance softly flickers
She was his and he was hers

[Chorus]
Sliding through window panes
Earthen presence in the stains
Twinkling in the sky they sway
The reeds in the sun they pray
The reeds in the sun

[Verse]
Eagle beak hard to break
Living in the dreams I make
I reach out heart to tether
Touch so soft as a feather
My heart wild will ever run
Like the reeds in the sun

[Chorus]
Sliding through window panes
Earthen presence in the stains
Twinkling in the sky they sway
The reeds in the sun they pray
The reeds in the sun

Summer sails (AI Music video using my voice and lyrics)

Summer sails (AI Music video using my voice and lyrics)
1 February 2026

With summer sails
I know you went
and summer days
I know you spent

Your breathing hours
that you fed much
my losing powers
my waning touch

The winds blew through
my inky blue
as I just stood
waiting for you

The summer sails
that you had kept
were summer days
that I had wept

Now summer’s gone
slipping through dirt
as sands are blown
over my hurt

The days went past
a million more
a love steadfast
in heart I bore

The summer sails
that you had kept
are just days
when I had wept

The saviours came from within us

The saviours came from within us

The sun shone hard on a dead land
’twas more heat than they could withstand
scorching waves shot up from the sand
They were melting under the rays

A river flowing set them straight
I knew we had little to wait
they had to be more than mere bait
presenting an offer to choose

Between sides he seemed to be torn
no sympathy for the forlorn
yet he displayed their death to mourn
To pretend but never to feel

His eyes darted from side to side
by no law was he to abide
Life for him was an easy ride
his eyes set neither here nor there

We looked upon him in dismay
some had seen in him God to pray
though he had neither will nor way
False idols stand where heroes fell

We knew it would not be the end
from hearts the future we could mend
healing ourselves we set new trend
the saviours came from within us

Internal flicker fed my hope

Internal flicker fed my hope

The blackbirds flying oh so high
over war torn landscapes they sigh
wings forming black waves in the sky
They replicate patterns on Earth

The world hurled out its wayward grief
It seemed there just was no relief
I looked at it in disbelief
Would I withstand what was in store?

I lay low in the leafy grass
body weighted like solid brass
eyes peering through the looking glass
would tomorrow hold new meanings?

My heart survived the black dismay
I kept the gloomy thoughts at bay
I piled upon me yellow hay
to make believe in new sunrise

Sun’s pallor shone at languid pace
to serve a day of deep disgrace
when men their horrors would not face
so the innocent paid the price

A thousand children were our shame
most surely we are all to blame
we saw them fall to deadly flame
now rubble and tears fill our hearts

I lift a world of red ember
a weight more than I remember
In a cold night of December
internal flicker fed my hope

She breathes sunlight

She sees through ugly
Her eye torn into darkness
Her gait leftover fancy
Of a lifetime of duress

She prays to the Gods
Her hands temple of fervours
Her mind beating the odds
Through failing faith that hovers

She adjusts composure
Her mouth a tomb of secrets
Her heart seeks closure
Her chest a book of regrets

She breathes sunlight
Her nose a cathedral
Her shoulders set into fight
Tomorrow a sight feral

Cascading thoughts fly
Riveting performances
meet my starry eye

Fireworks reveal
a universe in a sigh
that slow flows me by

A peal of laughter (Appeal)
a sacrifice to the stars
in quest of the hours (Inquest)

Urgencies dissolved
natural phenomenon
unwinding my veils

Pray reach out to me
your hands token of despair
stroking sad my hair

Observe me throughout
I am a bunch of flowers
now ready to dry

Invoking the Mother

Invoking the Mother

She had seen it in a dream as vividly as she was now seeing the sun shining outside. It was time for the Mother to come fully into this Earth and accomplish her work from the inside. It was time for her to purge the Earth so that balance may be restored on a higher plane than what could be achieved in the present state of affairs. Mother had always been a patron of the innocent and the weak and although she presented a terrifying face to her adversaries, she reverted back to her more gentle nature when the battle was over and she was faced only with the innocent. She was a force of destruction as far as evil was concerned but maintained her motherly attributes as far as the innocent were concerned and so far too many innocent had been suffering.

The Mother needed a vessel to carry her consciousness and she had carefully prepared for this for several years now. The vessel needed to have a segmented mind where part of the consciousness of the Mother could be downloaded while the rest of the mind could house the consciousness of the vessel itself. She was willing to be that vessel and had meditated using the kundalini technique in order to split her own mind. Although this had been painful and not without its consequences, she reflected that it would all be worth it once the Mother was there. The Mother’s consciousness, even though in part, could only be stored in nine fragmented parts of the vessel’s mind with the vessel’s own mind dwelling in the tenth part, which is why it had taken her years to reach that level of fragmentation and dissociation without totally losing her sanity.

The tools used for the ceremony to invoke the Mother to complete the downloading of her consciousness into her were not unlike those used to invoke the Marid except that there was no need for a protective circle and the candles used were red and black. The red represented the blood or primordial life form and the black represented the void from which all consciousness derived. There was already a fragment of the Mother inside a part of her consciousness and this guided her in disposing the red and black candles around the circles of aging blood also known as menstrual blood and those of fresh blood from her pricked finger. She sat naked amid the circles with the trident marked in blood on her forehead and the same marked in blood around the area of her navel and started the chanting. Soon the Mother would appear and all the evil on the Earth would slowly start to disintegrate. It might take its time and would probably take its toll on her but at the end it would all be worth it.

Of forgotten sorrows

A paper boat escapes

My fingers temporary haven

Timeless seeds cross my paths

Of morrows in the everglades

I walk in the shadow of my Self

Elongated sublime contours

Hushed countenance greets me

Alternation of tall and small

Windows in doorless house

Wings on body of void

I revolve around my inner suns

There I am at my peak

A witness to past seasons bleak

Of forgotten sorrows

The rhythm is that of the wind against the fallen leaves like a banshee wailing. Her mind syntonises with it finally as she picks up pieces of the shattered glass in front of her. There is no saying how much time the wind will continue to blow relentless. Her mind blows with the wind, flying high in the sky gathering momentum. At the same time her body continues to mechanically operate on its own. She carefully stacks the pieces of shattered glass in front of her and starts her daily work of repairing the window pane again.

She must have repaired it a hundred times yet every sunrise, the storm strikes at the same place again with the tree breaking through the window instantly killing her husband yet another time. Every day she wakes up again with the agony of knowing that she will again witness the scene of her husband’s death. The torture of knowing that initially numbed by the pain of his horrific death all she will be able to do is pick up the pieces of the shattered glass and start repairing the window as if to negate that it happened at all pursues her daily. She lives dreading the moment of initial sunshine which once made both her husband and her so happy.

She realises that she will never be able to grieve the loss of her husband as by the time she has finished repairing the window it is night time again and she falls asleep, exhausted. The first days that it happens, she does not remember exactly what has occurred but is only left with a sense of foreboding. Upon waking up that sense of foreboding slowly grows throughout the first week although it remains quite hazy. As time goes by , however, memories of the day before play back with excruciating precision.

She usually wakes up already knowing what will happen and totally helpless as she watches the events unfold. All she can do is repair the window in a wild and desperate hope that the next time, maybe at least once, it will not give way as the tree comes crashing through. Some days she would work her fingers sore until the nails almost peel and her fingers bleed and yet the next morning she would wake up to perfectly manicured fingers, her stomach tense with the knowledge of the oncoming onslaught.

Her mind soars higher as her fingers work swiftly repairing the window pane. She feels the moment when the night descends softly around her body that falls back on the bed. She watches as she lies almost lifeless her breath ragged as she struggles to overcome the sleepiness. Yet the slumber slowly overcomes her and her breath becomes more peaceful. It is the darkest point of the night now. Soon the killer dawn will strike again. She watches the body of her husband turn around and embrace her body.

Something inside her chest expands and she feels it stirring her body as she looks onward. The sun is about to rise and the winds are still howling. Her mind continues its wild jig with the winds. She knows that as the sun rises the storm will pick up strength and the tree will fall over breaking through the window pane. Her mind stills itself as the winds continue howling. The first rays of the sun pierce the horizon.

She opens wide her mouth and as it slowly rises she finally swallows the sun and the storm slowly loses its strength. Darkness falls all around as heat scorches her mind. She can feel the light exploding throughout her skull. She clenches her jaws as her mind maintains its stranglehold on the sun. The tree never moves again. She rolls her tongue softly over the blisters on her tongue. In the darkness beside her she can hear the soft breath of her husband. She utters a soft sigh and turns toward him holding him tight.
