## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

From spring's first blossoms to winter's frozen caverns, the changing seasons become a metaphor for the inner landscape we all traverse. What begins as a search for the right destination slowly transforms into the discovery that the journey itself is the reward. In surrendering expectations, the self is weathered, renewed and quietly returned to its Source.

I picked daisies
From fields of wild bloom
Setting course on springtime’s kiss
Seasons gone amiss
Weather man’s honey moon

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS [Verse] I picked daisies from fields of wild bloom dove into weather man’s honey moon setting course firmly on Springtime’s kiss shed memories of seasons gone amiss [Verse] Pale straws whirling around summer days Relentlessly wayward are the ways Perhaps too soon, Autumn leaves flocked tight Random play of seasons of half light [Verse] Leaves joining hands, pining for the rake Obedient, the waning piles hand stake counting on the rain to grant winner Renewal in the moss stretched thinner [Chorus] Check the boxes, sit back, set the course All is ready, return to the Source Stormy weather is the secret key Relax, all is set for the journey [Verse] Winter spelt ice in caverns of glass winding weaving through the underpass crossing through mountains in heathen lands like castle built on the desert sands [Verse] Midsummer mind, in between seasons looking back at spring’s quiet treasons Under feet quicksand yet not a loss Looking forth, trust outcomes, take a toss [Chorus] Check the boxes, sit back, set the course All is ready, return to the Source Stormy weather is the secret key Relax, all is set for the journey ## 🎧 SUNO SONG Listen to how this poem transforms into music across different styles: ### 🎸 Noir Blues version Noir Blues, smoky late-night atmosphere, slow tempo, brushed drums, sparse electric guitar, weary female vocals, melancholic blues Return to the source – Noir Blues Song | My Original Lyrics, My Voice (Suno)

A solitary woman standing beside a frost-covered river at dawn. Winter still lingers in the landscape, yet the first white blossoms have appeared on nearby branches. A bright star crosses the horizon in the distance. She watches without reaching for it. Frost melts into dewdrops. The scene conveys acceptance, transience, faith, renewal and quiet wonder.

## 🧠 ABOUT THE PROCESS

I transformed my original poem by adapting it into lyrics that were then used for a song generated using Suno, featuring my voice. Below you’ll find part of the original poem, the revised lyrics, and the musical version.

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

Winter settles over the landscape, yet beneath the frost a quiet promise endures. This song reflects on the fleeting nature of life, love and beauty, questioning our tendency to possess what was only ever meant to be witnessed. Like a star crossing the night sky, every soul shines for a brief moment before disappearing beyond the horizon. Through images of snow, crystal, fire and spring, the lyrics trace a journey from cold remembrance towards renewal, where faith becomes a small flame carried through the longest season and hope returns as the first thaw of a healing heart.

Lucid dreams awake
Ice yesterday’s snow grown cold
Faith a kindling fire

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS

[Verse]
Lucid dreams jolted wide awake
The mind knowing what is at stake
Ice, yesterday’s snow grown so cold
Faith a kindling fire to uphold

[Verse]
Wish upon a star, inducement
Watch it travel light, translucent
disappear into horizons
over the blue sky’s environs

[Verse]
I will reach you there, fiery sparks
Our bodies strewn luminous arks
Delicate Love’s aspiration
an intimate conversation

[Chorus]
Thawing crystal flakes turn new leaf
Hope now a glimmer of relief
a balm applied to yesterday
The heart healed as spring makes its way

[Verse]
Thoughts limpid as waters so still,
anticipation of the chill,
flowing through tired aching bones
singing through ache cavernous tones

[Verse]
Travelling through winter’s long breath
Voices deceived oncoming death
The souls intertwined numinous
a world of belief luminous

[Verse]
Your heart’s white crystals snowflakes’ art
promise of pearls for my heart
Dewdrops take a lifetime to dress
what the veins drop slow to confess

[Chorus]
Thawing crystal flakes turn new leaf
Hope now a glimmer of relief
a balm applied to yesterday
The heart healed as spring makes its way

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

This poem explores themes of loneliness and despair when faced with a dark fate.

Cheek in the ground, ashes to ashes
Splintered life most lived in flashes
Body’s weight to ground smashes
Red ink on frail body splashes
Wane light despair squashes
Hands clasped, it is not over

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS

[Verse]
Cheek in the ground, ashes to ashes
Splintered life mostly lived in flashes
The body’s weight to the ground smashes
red ink on a frail body splashes
Wane blinking light the despair squashes
Hands clasped tightly, it is not over

[Verse]
Time may stretch elsewhere yet here it shrinks
Yearning to reach the forever’s brinks
from a myriad of missing links
Living is but a few stolen winks
The captain with his boat always sinks
though sailor’s hope will ever hover

[Chorus]
Though sailor’s hope will ever hover
mermaids weakness through songs uncover
Destiny is but fickle cover
In the beginning time was lover
Hands clasped tightly, it is not over
Hills and mountains will find me rover

[Verse]
Gather with me many a loose hair
As whirlwinds collect me more despair
Stranded within this dark empty lair
sullen minds a heavy soul impair
so expect not a fate to be fair
Destiny is but fickle cover

[Verse]
Autumn renewed face rosy to flaunt
Summer a shade of yellow did haunt
Spring silent witnessed a cheek so gaunt
Winter in two minds would my mind taunt
Yielding me everything I could want
In the beginning time was lover

[Chorus]
Though sailor’s hope will ever hover
mermaids weakness through songs uncover
Destiny is but fickle cover
In the beginning time was lover
Hands clasped tightly, it is not over
Hills and mountains will find me rover

Music set

Melodies thriving

In my blood

As they flood

The synapses of my brain

Through journey in ear

Parting point

Rhythm now disjoint

Like my knees

As they ease

Into postures of dances

Of my wild prances

Summer slow

Eases into spring

Daffodils

On the hills

Where I hear your echo ring

Rumbling in my heart

Scent of summertime

Scent of summertime

11 April 2020

Run along

The pathways stretch out

Conjoining

Pink flowers

They border the green hedges

Where axe drove the wedges

Clear cutting

Woodcutters at work

Loosen limbs

Off the trees

Swaying under springtime breeze

They offer blossoms

I inhale

Scent of summertime

Hidden deep

In the grass

When the springtime bloom will pass

Uncover morrows

The city sprawls

Its engines now spent

Loose hurdles

Blood curdles

Thoughts of morrows’ place to rent

The kites within chest

The flurry

Birds within the skies

Welcoming

Springtime gait

Treetops where the flowers wait

The fall in summer

Take a chance

Open the chimneys

The dust piled

Cleansed with broom

Learn to spell the miracles

Burning within breath

Sun beyond winter

Spring’s magic in flowers’ touch

Waterhen that clucks

Branches in the stream

Tug of war of wooden limbs

Movement of water

The breath suspended

Particles alit in skies

Remember

The chirping robin?

When it came

From within

Heartbeats paired with rising spring

Composed song to sing

The dewdrops

Parallel to lash

Bated breath

Composure

Of beating lungs exposure

Strength of heart measure

Drawn insight

Stealth within the light

The darkness

Now vivid

Shining lighthouse all imparts

In shape of our hearts

Pray hearken

The raven that flew

Now anew

Yes anew

Will you reach into flowers

And grant us the dew?

Hark listen

The raven that flew

Yet it knew

Yes it knew

That you and I through hours

Was a tale so true

Now darkened

The raven that flew

T’was for two

So it blew

On the Sycamore treetop

It sat black and blue

Springtime dew

Drops on daffodils

Grass that sprouts

All about

My mind running wild with bees

Larks that morning frees

Summer breeze

Seeping through winter

Blinded herds

Haughty nerds

Of the meanings that become

Lost messages hummed

Symphonies

Stretching in the sun

Talking birds

Swirling words

Of the moments that I sum

With my heart’s fingers
