## 🧠 ABOUT THE PROCESS

I transformed my original poem by adapting it into lyrics that were then used for a song generated using Suno, featuring my voice. Below you’ll find part of the original poem, the revised lyrics, and the musical version.

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

Inside there is a soft glow is a meditation on the quiet radiance that survives beneath life's wounds, doubts and forgotten dreams. The poem explores the gradual expansion of the heart as it rediscovers wonder, sheds inherited limitations and opens itself to deeper communion with the unseen. It reminds us that the greatest transformations often begin not with blazing revelation, but with the gentle light that has always been waiting within.

The ship sails
The fallen sea wails
Burnt willows
My pillows
Embers flushing on my cheek
Glistening tears of meek

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS

[Verse]
The fallen sea wails, burnt willows
The ship sails, my head on pillows
Embers flushing red on my cheek
where lie glistening tears of meek

[Verse]
Resurrect the Enchanted Times
filled with magic read through my rhymes
Under the new moon, stand erect
Shaking off the dust of neglect

[Verse]
Of stardust, of the falling light
Of dwarfed remnants of the lost might
Silver trails hovering within
Earthen reckonings, hope drawn thin

[Chorus]
Twined, free Hummingbirds, we sing low
Frail, inside there is a soft glow
As heart grows, it expands in bricks
Feet strike three, the Dawn strikes at six

[Verse]
Wing that sings over the rooftops
Night kissed flight, knight in gale who hops
The feathers strewn a path of clues
Daydream bright, withered chains to lose

[Verse]
Twirl me slow through the waking tides
Peace blossoms while the Horseman rides
Multiply fast where he divides
Our bosom anchor, secret bides

[Chorus]
Twined, free Hummingbirds, we sing low
Frail, inside there is a soft glow
As heart grows, it expands in bricks
Feet strike three, the Dawn strikes at six

My heart for my King

My heart for my King

The night sleeps
under writhing stains
Dusk had torn
my remains
Every day the maiden weeps
the knight was unborn

I held fate
within open palms
Right or left
now instate
my hands expert in the theft
devoid of all qualms

Silver boon
taken out of place
Angered moon
bent on fire
throws me in deepest disgrace
circumstances dire

My nerves twitch
my quest a lost lamp
through the rain
dark and damp
though the light my eyes bewitch
show my lion’s mane

Shed my skin
Forbid this aching
Expend pain
now within
My soul would remit again
my heart for my King

Slow he hides
within December
by rules abides
though will strong
Heart lit by brightest ember
with mine sings along

Painting of a witch-like woman

Painting of a witch-like woman

Painting of a witch-like woman

I was doing some menial witchcraft work using the white arts to help a friend and got interrupted a few times by the bell including once by Jehovah’s witnesses who were attempting to convert me or so I thought. I said I was not of Christian faith which is not entirely true, nor is it entirely false. I used to say I believed in humanity before but with the idiotic stance of most these days and the unrelenting quest for more horrors of some, my faith in humanity is dwindling and I struggle to believe.

I decided to start painting again to ease my mind of more complex matters and halfway through just mixing the paints, I realized that the colours were a bit dark. I carried on, however, before realizing that you should not paint when you are irritated or angry because that gets carried into what you are painting. I thought I should publish it all the same, even though it stood at stark odds with my previous paintings and drawings.

And as always, mixing the visual, sometimes the spoken but always an audio of the moment, I give you a song which seems quite suited to my painting.

Smother not

The wilful intent

It breathes low

Remedies

For the dark venture to cease

The mind none to tease

Pursue Art

Within mighty heart

The power

To harness

Kingdoms beyond the darkness

Where brave stand duress

Look beyond

Written in the skies

The hearts paired

The souls spared

The breach a keen reminder

When the mind despaired

Springtime dew

Drops on daffodils

Grass that sprouts

All about

My mind running wild with bees

Larks that morning frees

Summer breeze

Seeping through winter

Blinded herds

Haughty nerds

Of the meanings that become

Lost messages hummed

Symphonies

Stretching in the sun

Talking birds

Swirling words

Of the moments that I sum

With my heart’s fingers

I dreamt upon a summer night

The soft winds talked to me

Of your white wings they bore in light

Over the deep blue sea

I leaned upon the garden’s door

Its frame a gage of you

As your gait then appeared ashore

Our love renewed so true

You carried me within the flowers

You were knight, I queen Bee

They wilted as we counted hours

That you and I could see

The chest gathered arrows

A sacrifice thrown at its feet

Of the archer it shows

Upturned splendor of his defeat

Mind to heart made appeal

No prison for want of warden

A kiss of love to seal

A pact made in yonder garden

The slow mist covered soft

Flowers in the garden blooming

The heart yet kept aloft

Silken threads to the mind grooming

Ripples in his tides had gathered

The wolf played act so meek

Spotting golden fleece in the herd

Approached it tongue in cheek

The darkness bore it through the eye

The prey that he did seek

He turned to glower at the sky

Saw clouds upon them bleak

Then burdened by this new defeat

He gazed upon it slight

Turned the slate to become new sheet

Softly renounced the might

Twirling knots

Renewing my hair

In between

Here and there

Pieces and strands flying high

Shadows in the sky

Lustre lost

My skin flakes so pale

Gathered soft

On my knees

Yesterday a place to tease

Dying memories

Rustling reeds

Escaping fingers

Paper boats

Lining up

Dropping tea stains from my cup

I hear the silence

Do you see me at work preparing departure

Erecting my torches for a very long trip

You can now admire the pinnacle of art

In tanning all the rags into an immense sail

The departure will ring three small rounds and quarter

See prepare the waters in unfathomable wall

Mirror to see oneself, the crossing of the gap

Well stamped are now my seals of royal heritage

I pierce through the tight flanks of curtain of combat

Pale trestles of a scene where we live enemy

Shots in body thousands from the tireless soldiers

See the fate that brings me to land of denial

That makes me return to heaven of my innards

I give forth King patron God of both worlds blessed
