The minds roam

Where unworthy thoughts utter
Binding codes of dark
Drill me spark
In marble prairies
Where moons shine
White pristine
Alabaster diaries
Like sins of fairies
Twinkle through

Wind me down
Bear me crown

The dragon summons
Throngs of knights like nightingales
They whisper secrets
Into the dark night
They move in hurried footsteps
Their cloaks mantelpiece
Stories of knighthood
Belie undercover truths
That bask in the sight
The blinded eye sees
Retro projections of life
Of a past Time stale
Life scurries in paths
Where the unwitting stumble
Their gaze dream’s wonder

Restless Times
The road knows two sides
Straight ahead
Wall awaits
Pacing left right and center
Footsteps a quagmire
Burnt desire
Parchment of memories
Coded red
Bloodied lips
Utter words of safe havens
Peacocks and ravens
Middle way
Lost in centuries
When dragons
Founded grace
The knights adopting their pace
Upheld the old code
Angels sway
To tunes of morrows
When sorrows
Overcome
The thunders of their low hum
As voices crackle
Knitted faith
Protects no longer
Knots untied
Unweaving
Widows and sons bereaving
The lost promises
Spear pierces
Its thrust solemn sigh

Strange feeling
Floating in limbo
Connected
Caring strong
For the tribes where we belong
Intricate crisscross
Sense of loss
The bosom a rock
Twining strength
With frailty
To have and never to keep
Fluttering yet deep
Maidens weep
While the knights battle
Humans then
Or cattle
The answer is suspended
In between the breaths
Quest ended
Beginning in end
Unending
Curtain falls
Encore says the crowd cheering
For a new replay
Lost in hay
The needle of hope
The three Norns
Threading bare
Precision of unkempt hair
Fate chance encounter
Sensations
Fluctuating point
Limbs collate
At the joint
Emotions bubbles in air
Love fear joy despair
Multiple
The forces at work
Patchwork feel
Divine quirk
The chore handed down with smirk

Cast me net
The fish are lively
Their gills shine

Bound by oath
Made in code and blood
Knights will join
Tooth and loin
Though it is the mighty Queen
Who leads King’s battle
Salt for Toth
Sugar for the bees
I pray strong
Though on knees
My sight restored to Unseen
A snake with rattle
Heart in peace
Discovering wills
I float through
Noah’s ark
It rekindles in me spark
Of destiny’s spear
We lead crowd
Bonded in fever
They shout loud
Voices hoarse
Blind eyes decoding the Morse
As I type haggard
We strip folds
From unseeing eyes
Waking up
Seeing lies
They discover land of Oz
Broken the wizard
The King walks
His pace a slow move
While the Queen
Unhindered
Flies high through the battle cries
Sacrifice her groove
Openings
Entrenched in our souls
They beckon
To the grapes
High above the wilting shapes
Of trees in the wind
Holocaust
Burning apple trees
Violins
Aching wood
Empty stomachs yearning food
Beating above dins
Dance to beat
Live die and repeat
Past blunders
Wane thunders
Warning chimes as thief plunders
Plucking from bosoms
Hearts turn cold
This was not the fate
We wrote once
With bright pens
The worthy cooped up in dens
Waiting for lions
Blue craters
They await the sane
Lost haters
Smothered dust
Dissolves into fading rust
Of forgotten steel
She will come
From bowels of Earth
She ignites
My hands gifts
Blue heart throbbing as she lifts
My frame into skies

The dark smarts
Hooded shadows roam
Within night
Their feet slight
Their footsteps lost in silence
Of the blackened arts
The stories
Flowers in bouquet
Some radiant
Some wilted
Series of experiences
All set in the growth
Memories
Cast in blue windows
To the soul
There is trail
The heart wizens as I fail
To harken to both
Listening
To clicks of the safe
Haven found
Give the keys
Crawl indoors upon your knees
Eat me and grow tall
Watch me fall
With the winter’s sleigh
Downhill ride
Upon snow
Of white feathers plucked out slow
Breaking my bad bone
Clutch it hard
Wish upon my chest
Of treasures
I store none
I gave once my very best
Now I am pauper
In life’s game
There are knights and pawns
Some visit
Royal lawns
Others like window shopper
Roam empty handed
There is shame
In stolen limelight
Fake varnish
Withered ends
If you lie you make amends
To name you tarnish
