Female wisdom slows down the fight 27 October 2024
They hoarded from river to sea homes not for them so tirelessly as broken throngs just had to flee usurped lands cannot be taken
As they looked for love and respect the tides turned on debased regret although they were told not to fret their losing path carved itself dark
Trump to trump with a winning card wrong male policies to discard intruders are leveled down hard female wisdom slows down the fight

Harbinger
of erased nation
A death toll
on both sides
leads nowhere as the fear rides
to uneven poll
the clock strikes
unequal death chimes
we surmount
the war crimes
our memory a closed tap
bodies our minds wrap
Live cocoons
shelter vivid thoughts
unwilling
uncaring
we see not what then transpired
as thousands expired
Fed through spoons
weather-beaten words
Flimsy talks
forceful walks
to the other side of hope
a yearning to cope
Warning call
lost time to recall
regret stitched
intimate
within layers of the brain
lesson to retain
The legs pace
unknown surfaces
riddled lanes
absorb pains
of humanity’s disgrace
all blood same red lace
Reading of the poem:
Crescent moon
Glistens on treetops
Blowing winds
Change the skies
Cloudy landscapes meet our eyes
Decanting pearl drops
Humans rise
Multiple tasks shake
Their dark ribs
As they stir
Notions of a foregone Time
While the war bells chime
The ground spills
Red waters that slide
They know not
Colours’ calls
Crimson landscapes cut our falls
To touch, not divide

They flaunted new bodies they’d seized25 December 2021

They took the rules as a set trend
they bent on knee in submission
They made of the quest a mission
each to each hero and new friend
Their souls to heavens would ascend
one by one their bodies released
as their breath in their chests decreased
Consciousness moved to other spheres
releasing behind all the fears
they flaunted new bodies they’d seized
