Rewinding the clocks – Cinematic, Indie, Trip Hop Versions | Song created with Suno (my lyrics, my voice)
6 November 2026
A woman suspended over a crater in the Earth. The crater is very big. She is suspended above a ring of fire in a circle at the center of which the edge of her feet are. Parallel Rays of light emanate from the circle and surround her. Above her the sky is full of grey clouds which are lit in places where the rays pierce them.

## 🧠 ABOUT THE PROCESS

I transformed my original poem by adapting it into lyrics that were then used for a song generated using Suno, featuring my voice. Below you’ll find part of the original poem, the revised lyrics, and the musical version.

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

Rewinding the clocks journeys through the ruins of innocence, where limiting beliefs, hollow promises and the violence of human ambition imprison the mind and obscure the heart's forgotten light. Beneath the weight of shattered dreams and broken freedoms, embers of love and rectitude continue to glow. As time corrodes old certainties and buried voices rise through rings of fire, the past rekindles a deeper understanding of sacrifice. Beyond recognition or remembrance, true worth resides not in the fame of those who give, but in the enduring meaning of their deeds, whose flames may illuminate the lives of others long after their names are forgotten.

Tick me strikes
Clock me from afar
Withered hands
Grasping Time
Gone though we have come this far
Ending in blind war

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS

[Verse]
Tick me strikes, Clock me from afar
Withered hands Grasping Time to char
Gone though we have all come this far
Ending in sordid and blind war

[Verse]
You paint me in feathers and tar
The joke spent, the dream dreamt in jar
Withered Eyes express my dissent
I have no reason to sleep bent

[Verse]
Blazing rays Ignite fading scar
Is this everything that we are
The eyelids scorching now slow weep
For more we were meant, love so deep

[Chorus]
Nurtured talks, my flailing embers
gone my name no one remembers
Rewinding the clocks kindling flame
Sacrifice is the worthy’s fame

[Verse]
The strong mind stilled and Overkilled
Paper joys and stark lies distilled
Like the darkest of vile venom
You raised me in black chains kingdom

[Verse]
Hidden spark, a love shining bright
The Heart’s delight now out of sight
still ringing through my brittle night
a broken Cradle for the right

[Verse]
Hark now hear the oncoming rust
The Voices nearer to the crust
The rumble now clear speaks louder
raising flaming rings Red powder

[Chorus]
Nurtured talks, my flailing embers
gone my name no one remembers
Rewinding the clocks kindling flame
Sacrifice is the worthy’s fame
