Fallen down

On concrete flooring

Reaching lows

Loosing flows

This blood cascading river

Cutting deep slowly

Breathe in me

Sounds of your return

The days cry

As I yearn

For your name to be printed

Across soul wilted

Sorrow’s clown

Pantomimes a thought

In my mind

Windmills grind

Sands grains that come loose sinking

Hopes of lost laughter

Morrows flee

Your shadow hovers

Moon covers

Pale lovers

Their sight building up in I

Living on a lie

Frozen crown

Plays with fire’s lace

In disgrace

Throw me words

Flocking sheep to their shepherds

Once upon a rhyme

Give up glee

Nothing left to see

Buy me time

Features grime

Mask the curse you gifted me

Break this death’s saunter

Pitch black hurts

The sensitive eyes

Reeling move

On blackboards

Revealing tempo of groove

Distilling the whites

Flying kites

Hover above me

Thin slices

Of glories

They regenerate delights

Of childhood stories

Hold with me

My grasp on them weak

I dare not

Even speak

As the ropes pulsate with throb

Of the blackened mob

Body loss

Puppeteers rewind

In twin peaks

Riddled streaks

Measures of hue man eat he

Shredded dignity

Lines to cross

In between jigsaw

Puzzle me not

We forgot

The clear-cut lines of the law

Lesser of evils

Weigh me down

Burden of anvils

Beat upon

Lost forlorn

The making of the sword less

Soulful from soulless

Talk to me

From withering caves

Your mouth shrine

Frozen times

The words fed to the wordless

Soul forever mine

The gowns flow

Like rivers of lime

Committed

The seventh crime

Nine gates carry to the rhyme

That unfolds in Heart

Renewed start

In seasons squared root

The owls hoot

To the moon

They speak of wish dead too soon

In folds of the night

Brief respite

Encounters of lips

In the dark

Shadows lisp

Unheard names before the lark

Chirps to the unseen

Ravens bleed

Velvet of the night

They hop low

Like a crow

Three blackbirds join in the show

Clipped wings fly too slow

Consensus

Gleaning compromised

By free will

Flown downhill

Through the aisle like corpse reeling

Loss of the feeling

Wrapping up

Loose ends that flutter

Gifts resist

Grim gutter

Words that Heart will not utter

The fornever more

Tsunami

Suicidal wave

Of words hurled

Through ether

Like curtains of the fallen

They rise and greet her

Spiraling

Helicoidal flight

Of the light

Under skin

The pathways stay divergent

The flicker rewrites

Quakes by Three

Disintegrate us

You and me

For Queen bee

She selects the raw pollen

That her will unites

White paper

Suffocates my words

Like water

Thrown to herds

They drink long in blind consent

No thought of dissent

Amnesic

We will not find faults

Turkish baths

Take the salts

Of our pores sweating the malts

Of drunken stupor

Mnemonic

Technical glitches

Mind stitches

Words keyholes

Through which I had them stuttered

Bred and but uttered

My inks flow

Like blackened raindrops

From skies hole

To console

The children of our yearning

Born from beaten quills

Dissolved frills

Stark truths face the wise

To surmise

Assumption

Beating breath in consumption

Bloodied burning paths

My hands guide

Like a broken Tide

Every Time

On your shore

Like an ode to never more

I draw the same lines

Wave spotting

Thrill of the surfer

Goal in height

Darkened might

Entering the bridge of crest

Speeding through unrest

When storm breaks

The ranks diminish

Hands astray

Feet blemish

Every excuse minds cherish

Story in banner

Ills manner

The natural spurts

When polish

Will vanish

In the face of tidal wave

Only for the brave

Showering

Words means with no end

Cowering

Squat the knave

Monologues a helpless scene

Broken repertoire

Untruth mean

Average inclined

Towards lies

Bridled skies

Light but nest of fireflies

Beast’s underbelly

Heartfelt trust

We do what we must

When I fall

I recall

Your arms surround me with all

The Love in the stars

Fleeting touch

Intensified grip

As I dip

Into you

Spilling over countenance

Your voice my penance

Silent prayer

The nuns mortified

Broken words

Leading herds

Into the gardens of dark

Gone is the light spark

Night crawlers

They worship the skull

Lonely bones

Adorning

Intricate architecture

Hallways of priesthood

The suns rise

In confined spaces

Crisp contours

Black white squares

Sunsets and sunrises spent

As brood-breeding mares

Fences dense

Virgins lily white

Pulsating

Sacred heart

Of eras of knighthood toils

The best of the spoils

Rising star

Bees and flies flutter

By your sight

Twin twilight

Purple points to where we are

A Tale of Two Crowns

Double play

The battered relay

Within dark

Lies the light

Two sides of a medal fight

Liquid state fusion

Confusion

Reigns in the tremors

Within Heart

Lies the spark

Finding peace in the terrors

Disturbance of mind

Eye watch

Vigil of the night

Fervent words

As world fades

In blue skies that carry birds

Into lakes of tears

Angel sears

Its wings a kingdom

Burnt morrows

Welcome paths

We play relentless our parts

In stilted comebacks

Fear fiefdom

Deafening anguish

Of the meek

Gain polish

The revolving stone reaches

Where voice beseeches

Hone me slow

Time’s abrasive leaves

My petals point

Efforts joint

The waters revealing glow

Of my crystal core

تلك الكلمات / Those translucent words

تلك الكلمات

(Poetically translated into a Senryu in English below or here)

٢٧ أبريل ٢٠١٦

Those words

Those translucent words

(poetic  “translation” into an English Senryu of a Senryu written in Arabic, above or here)

27 April 2016

Words English

Those translucent words

They beat fast in my bosom

Like fierce and caged birds

Their beautiful songs

Broken tides of the dark blood

A cycle of moon

We once spoke along

Like buzz of a million bees

Our hands were still wrapped

Around bright futures

That unfolding slow portrayed

Light of Unity

Those translucent words

They flew like a dove so high

Born Unbreakable

The shimmering bond

A token of inner light

Within the darkness

All that there once was

Gradually dissolving

In grey wisps of smoke

Earth’s crust Revolving

Circling my two fading suns

Depths of Clarity

Thoughts of you

Vivid remainders

Hues of pink

Deep purple

Like blemish on a new wound

Opening shut books

Remembrance

More than just good looks

Charisma

Solemn words

Something beyond the dead herds

Grazing in the blue

I found you

The day we lost us

Useless fuss

Swears and cuss

Light headed memories cut

Edge of my language

The child’s words

Simplicity’s speech

Narrate best

The lost quest

Of the fruit we kept but zest

Our hands sharpened knives

The people

They rub hard the lives

Into stones

Brittle bones

Ground with more than intention

Fleecing redemption

Remember

Mending takes strong threads

More than heads

It is hearts

That excel in crafts and arts

The blood forms divine

I knelt once

My head upon feet

Within shrine

That was mine

Wasted were the black idols

From within came shine

Resurrect

The fading symbols

Swaying fate

Called upon

More than pupil will dilate

My kingdom on Earth
