Throw me words

Throw me words

Fallen down

On concrete flooring

Reaching lows

Loosing flows

This blood cascading river

Cutting deep slowly

Breathe in me

Sounds of your return

The days cry

As I yearn

For your name to be printed

Across soul wilted

Sorrow’s clown

Pantomimes a thought

In my mind

Windmills grind

Sands grains that come loose sinking

Hopes of lost laughter

Morrows flee

Your shadow hovers

Moon covers

Pale lovers

Their sight building up in I

Living on a lie

Frozen crown

Plays with fire’s lace

In disgrace

Throw me words

Flocking sheep to their shepherds

Once upon a rhyme

Give up glee

Nothing left to see

Buy me time

Features grime

Mask the curse you gifted me

Break this death’s saunter

Futile world

Throbbing to the beat

Of unseen

Hands too keen

To smite rather than unite

Split not gather sheep

Buried deep

Resolutions dead

Woolly head

Wobbly knees

Eye barely grasps what it sees

The mind lost distant

Quick to bite

A dog eat dog world

Wolves galore

Woman whore

The man with the largest jaws

Rabies a constant

Stand at ease

Your meek mind appease

None to please

Weak to tease

I gave up flicking through fleas

On bedraggled skin

Holy din

The prayer excuse

Will to use

Right abuse

Curdled blood my veins perfuse

Madness does bemuse

Skipping through

Primitive reorganised

Leaping frogs

Follow lead

The rest sit wallow in greed

They burn in two suns

Snakeskin oils

Soak knaves, they grasp spoils

Teeth rotten

Tinged yellow

Their hearts of fear turned jello

Looting others’ toils

They would wear

Shiniest of silk

The face coarse

Intent greed

Within them flowers the seed

Of malevolence

Beyond looks

See the wilting heart

Dress code smart

Eye contact

A fading sheep seeks pretense

Wolf jumps over fence

Unshaken

The brave in truth’s foils

Purest white

Mind’s delight

Their hearts with love filled in light

Giving is their might

They bear tear

Of the journey’s ilk

The voice hoarse

The weak’s stead

Innocents their sheltered thread

Heart’s benevolence

Within books

See the beating heart

Simple life

Power’s strife

Of shepherds they bear the staff

Know wheat from its chaff
