Skipping beat

Alice on her feet

Grave matters

She tended

Left brain right brain no brain left

The skull only bones

Did they tune

Right into what’s left

Was the rune

Now just cleft

Skulls then only left bereft

Congenial theft

Would it fit

The brain and the wit

She pranced up

Buttercup

Not again said the Hatter

We’ve done this before

Don’t be sore

Hatter said Alice

Did you miss

Extra tea

I assure you you will see

Keep me company

How childish

She had no real brain

Hatter smiled

Going wild

Was one of delicacies

Perhaps worth the pain

Let it rain

Shower me golden

The mirth lost

On wizened

It was all only water

Filter salt in sea

Living in Truth where shadows lie

The rain poured on land of empty

Where snakes hissed on the desert sands

The feet that trod the barren lands

Danced slow to the newfound plenty

The sands curdled like frumenty

A tidal wave that crowds disbands

Covered all but for groping hands

Reaching out for Twenty Twenty

I glimpse it all with withered sigh

Twin peaks that skies then pierced anew

What breaches Truth in Truth must die

From waters grave we rise and fly

We turn our backs the choosing few

Living in Truth where shadows lie

New age contemplate

Demonised

Fragmented postures

Body parts

Grave imparts

Millenary stoned landscapes

Bittersweet the grapes

Utilised

Necrotica whim

Dented skin

Body thin

Planted seed of the hunger

Deathbed to linger

Galvanised

Finding the divine

Inside shrine

Freedom thine

Body a mirror template

New age contemplate

Polluted

Minds reek of the fear

Hearts stay clear

On the fence

Truth is the line of defense

Against night crawlers

The faith wanes

When the stones shatter

Window panes

My remains

Pick up the pieces of me

Oceanic grave

Lines tighten

The net scourging sea

Blood pearls drip

Against skin

Swallow the hurt now within

Red ink diluted

The well calls me

The well calls me

24 June 2016

Your shadow’s light

It beckons to me

Through the waning open walls

Dividing the space

Separating our hands

The reprimands

All things lose power

As your urging mind now calls

A token of grace

Recovery of sight

Nights unveil you

Iridescent ghost

Your visits transforming me

Daily nighttime host

My flesh your choice pasture

The melodies

Do you remember

They sang in our joyous hearts

Then grief seeped through

As you climbed stairs to heaven

Buried in soul

The melodies ring

As I thrive in your embrace

Sheltered by your wing

We fly into night skies

Upwards downwards

The journeys take turns

Revolving dissolving paths

The maps lost in Time

When innocence drew straits

The walls closing

They hold you within

This house of cards that tumble

As the paint peels off

Revealing your essence

Spiraling flight

You me and the light

Nothing compares to your face

Shimmering presence

I dive into your spark

The well calls me

Like ravens from dreams

I fall into the waters

As the trees grow tall

Around liquid grave’s dark

As I realised some of you are kind enough to like my poems in French even though their French is a bit rusty or some just because they like the images and the feel of the poem without understanding much I have resolved whenever I can to put up a translation in English. It is difficult because the French language allows you to hide many more meanings into the same sentence and I find it less possible with the English, especially if one wants to respect the poetry rhythm and requirements. I have attempted to keep the below a Shadorma (in between brackets figures the correct translation of a word that I might have changed a bit to keep the Shadorma syllable count and in one instance I have put up another possible wording where the French word has more than one meaning). Thanks as always for your comments and encouragements 🙂

A distant call rings

Black echoes from beyond grave

Bring me back your blood

.

Served bloody sausage

Of our dead future

Oh what rotten fruit

.

Indigested dish

Brings back weary memories

From depths I had slain

.

It I had reviled

Tasted it in weightlessness

Stealthily, hidden

.

Heavy, disgusting

Sour-bitter of a dead past

An acid reflux

.

Vomit your offal

Finally free my stomach

To digest other

.

I would tear my skin

If it were to bear your stench

Make it new banner

.

I will clamour loud

The withering of my sighs

Satirised in vain

.

To live and then die

Of nature to wound myself

That in me slithers

.

A life extinguished

I collected the ashes

And made a new shroud

.

To die and then live

Did I have to use the if/saw (play on si – scie in the French version i.e. the if or the saw)

To cut everything

.

A day will soon come

Where a beautiful bright void

Will cleanse my stomach
