Now that the trail has gone cold

In the beginning
Time washed me on empty shores
Shell of air that hung
.
She breathed me Fire
Mother wove me from her womb
Golden thread for stars
.
She covered me clay
Rising tides her Oceans spent
Nights on my dark hair
.

She swelled me tremors
Beating Heart she raised me high
Tidal waves my blood
.
.
She kneaded me bread
The black and the white she joined
Every mouth to feed
.
I wake in her ice
Now that the trail has gone cold
Heart follows her scent
.
Only my Mother
Scent of Jasmine knew her feet

You led strong the path
Stark contrasts blinded the eye
That dwelt in the mind
I walked yesterday
Within your footsteps’ clamours
We both lost the way
Recovering sight
I shook the night’s salty waves
And brought you the light
You breathed into me
Heat of a thousand dragons
Forgotten treasure
I frosted your mind
Brought to it a chilling peace
My deadly waters
Tendrils lily white
Reaching out to ink pitch black
Rewrite nuances
Softly exploring
I opened the Heart Channel
Regenerating
Tomorrow’s bud stems
From roots that creep within Earth
Nine reaching for skies
From nine we split Three
As you and I climbed the Tree
Climbing us becomes
Ten was the Number
We had decomposed from nine
As the candles hung
So Close yet so Far

My shadow silent
Dangling dandelion rots
On my withered Heart
I am shadowless
You kept projections of me
Shifted from axis
I keep in heart North
Which guides me by polar Times
Out of icy age
The light preceded
Stealthy friend it brought me sight
Of changing futures
Shadows crept behind
Raven reached out for my soul
That I had kept whole
Black it cried for death
Hesitant I pondered gift
Then split it in half
You kept the token
Torn from within my heart’s lurch
So Close yet so Far
A new world awaits

Fighting with sparrows for Blue
Black rain threatened skies

Birth a difficult process
Deliverance in Fear

Darkness so thickened
Rising with the stark Venom
That coursed through the Blood

In Heart the panic
Spread a wildfire of sorrow
Flaming illusions

Hark! Keep the Heart’s shine
For dawn lies at darkest point
Piercing through the night

A New World awaits
Stored in the coils of our Soul
Shown while Time unfolds

Through the backdrop of my soul
Designed grey matter

Light and Dark blended
As joy and sadness fray not
For lives separate

Alice lost child’s dreams
As she threaded the needle
Through the looking glass

The hatter laughed high
Raising pitch black yet a notch
Rabbits’ clocks to smudge
.
Thoughts swirl on ceiling
Sink in dark bottomless pits
From all extremes two
.
Mermaid walked on legs
Stolen from the living dead
Excruciating!

Bring me a lost light
Beyond ego turned to foam
As sun light hollered

I touched your cold face
On a bright summer morning
As the dewdrops fell
The Earth welcomed cool
Steaming with the hiss of light
Water fire sinks
The cold was your tears
As night’s wake had gifted these
To your marble skin
A sob rose in throat
For future lived in past tense
Where hearts would flutter
You and I then cried
The loss of what was to be
As neither moved moss
Growth is from cutting
Seedlings in another land
Must then be potted
I cut through an inch
We winced from the incision
And withdrew silent
Hand on your shoulder
Mortal experiences
Treachery of pain
All senses fail me
A sixth came to the rescue
Enhancing your sight
Imaginary
Friends reproach me your essence
That they will feel not
You dwell in my mind
Your heart reaching through the space
In between photons
Mind said you were dead
Perhaps I am your widow
You painted me black
Milliseconds’ fleet
From one beam to the other
As I catch your depth
Coded in the words
Meaning of a mind spirals
Through a timeless void
Loophole carries me
Writhing spirit did battle
Fragmentation tires
Living in split worlds
My soul divides a fractal
Embedded in time

The winds blow chilly
When the days fill with silence
And sun only sets
The evening breeze
Fights its way to howling plain
Where spirits fly free
In gyrating dance
Chill meets with warmth relentless
Throb in ear races
Warm airborne displays
Reverberating through space
Ring harsh to pained ears
Soothing melodies
Of distant smooth orchestras
Play of jazz acid
Healing occlusion
Chewing on the memories
Will frees so hasten
Sporadic succumbs
To a lady called Constance
Who in mind swells slow
Faceless and ardent
She shall read a book of names
Uncovering you
Spelling you out loud
I rebuild your nerve structure
As it fills my eyes
As my heart fluttered
You swam under my lashes
Tainted my cheeks black
The landscapes melted
Cool water met with high flames
That surged in my soul
Two swans necked gracious
Symbiotic reunion
Bond everlasting
My eye observed thrilled
Orange on black on snow-white
That rainbow hues dwarves
Alas swans did part
Perhaps loving is leaving
Another rebirth
Happily ever laughter

Mocking hill stood stark
Against pains of memory
That stretched envy green

Bluebirds flew silent
Into cages that shut light
Delicate bones snapped
.
Feather by feather
The peacock loses glory
As the swamp moves in
.
A stretch of time’s wings
Borrowed from ancient black caves
Where noises spun dark
.
Silver coins drop
Exchange is in losses’ weights
I will read your fate
.
Hop to the music
Twist of luck for you hunchback
Quasimodo heals
.
Hold hands with puppets
Heart reeling with the strings’ pull
Pearl by pearl stitch souls
.
Adorn fools’ beret
Step dancing into the jig
Smile is for wearing
.
Grimacing heart’s ache
Twitched and writhed in irony
Happily ever laughter

A distant call rings
Black echoes from beyond grave
Bring me back your blood

Served bloody sausage
Of our dead future
Oh what rotten fruit

Indigested dish
Brings back weary memories
From depths I had slain

Heavy, disgusting
Sour-bitter of a dead past
An acid reflux

Vomit your offal
Finally free my stomach

I would tear my skin
If it were to bear your stench
Make it new banner

I will clamour loud
The withering of my sighs
Satirised in vain

To live and then die
Of nature to wound myself
That in me slithers

A life extinguished
I collected the ashes
And made a new shroud

To cut everything

A day will soon come
Where a beautiful bright void
Will cleanse my stomach
