Stick measures

Prodded cattle’s spine

Wine and dine

Meat so fine

Red more than colour brandished

Choice that mouth relished

 

They feed us

Darkness in a spree

Jerking knee

Fear to flee

Heart knows more than what eye sees

Willful chance to seize

 

Consume me

My flesh wanton gift

Mend the rift

Spirit lift

Still the hunger in the heart

No souls to depart

 

Lost pleasures

None in mind to hate

Check me mate

Bid me spate

I will waters overcome

For my Kingdom come

 

They see us

When we split in three

Hollow sea

Trinity

Casting net to kill disease

An evil to cease

The light in the mind

Two of kind

Blood rewind

A twin bird from a dark cell

Sentient status

Of my Heart

Pay no heed

We wallow in ridicule

The killers galore

 

The absent

A status symbol

Of unfed

Mouth to mouth

Respiratory whims fetch

Meanings to the touch

 

The starved clutch

The remnants of chaff

Falling threads

Of a thought

Wheat fleeting commodity

Bread an afterthought

 

Beauty wrought

In sinuous lines

Between peaks

Of despair

Tragedy eye opener

Liner of dark rims

 

The look skims

Bones and milky skin

The silk worn

Pieces torn

Patchwork of a body lain

On bed of roses

The hum rocks stone

Hurling all matter

Handing the key to glory

On silver platter

The deaf muted alone

 

Keep humming song

We will sing along

Like the streams that gather pace

When joining deltas

Flowing into the sea

 

You me and she

Sworn fraternity

Orchestrating symphony

Genderless voices

The roots bear our choices

 

She, he are we

More than eye can see

Do you count my ageless Time

Follow you my rhyme

I dine on the flood

 

Red blue my blood

Purple are my veins

In you I am what remains

Lavender my stains

Now see me out of chains

Mighty is the beast

Deadly breath remember ring

Cherry tree

It charges the mind

Loaded gun

Roulette spun

Inventing reasons to see

Beyond eye’s sight space

 

The silence

Like a stubborn child

It wriggles

Fighting back

Refusing to cut me slack

As I compress it

Looming like a cloud

It hovers

All covers

In icy understanding

Of oncoming death

It leaks from the roof

Into bed

And breakfast

Routine of a buzzing life

Filling emptiness

Engulfs me
