The rain falls
Coloured black and blue
On my sides
Tanning hides
My pores all welcoming spots
Blue forget me nots
Slowly flow
Blue lakes inside me
Silently
Hidden skies
Whispering realities
Lift them to the clouds
I gather
In the rain that falls
Falls falls slow
On your lands
Blue and green blended mellow
Under desert sands

Thwarting Time
My hands unconstrained
Strumming rhyme
As it rained
From heavens dewdrops gathered
In my blooming Heart

The time flows within
Over bridges of waters
A brief instant caught
As the second falters
Motionless, still
Life fleets in moments
Permanent impermanence
Resurging in waves
All silent but the change

People hold
The woes at arms’ length
They confess
Wrongdoings
The priest a pail of water
Washing away sin
Through the din
Of voices spilling
The chilling
Careless minds
Owning up a lost concept
Remorse ne’er teeth grinds
The waters
Wash away matter
The unclaimed
Cast treasures
Of inner content measures
Declining substance
Stretched so thin
The souls a shadow
Of lost hope
Blind justice
The mouth but tool to practise
False words of regret
The victims
The ghosts of the self
The gaze bleak
As they speak
Of accumulated hurt
Until the night falls
Day’s respite
Within the sorrows
Invented
Outer world
Mirrors of inner torment
As dark faces light
Mind creates
From pool of battles
The ripple
Unending
The battlefield heart-rending
We fight but ourselves
Learn balance
The heart speaks clearly
Yet the mind
Clings dearly
Known fields appeasing kingdoms
Though they spell bloodshed
It trickles
Drop after drop flows
Till the end
When hearts mend
The cup a humble chalice
The flow endless stream
The seeker
Walks in white penance
Within dream
Through unseen
The journey a star filled trek
Through the wilderness
Fading steps
In realms of the void
Of reasons
Self devoid
Only knowing acceptance
The why matters not
When hearts rule
The kingdoms flourish
Each bastion
A limb cast

Down by the river
Each pebble
A symbol
Of weight that creased the footstep
When feet were nimble
Walking straight
Aloft the waters
Heaven’s pull
Contrasting
Gravity everlasting
Maintaining balance
Water flows
Endless free motion
No cushion
Commotion
A state of being alive
In expectation
We bear ills
Of every nation
Our hearts fenced
Our minds tight
Shutters barely let in light
Shadows our pittance
There are trees
That grow in the air
When I look
They are there
My mind their only manure
The sky’s tears their food
The world twirls

Its twining effect
Wipes regret
White cloister

Projections of shallow thoughts
