We count instant
The time flows within
Over bridges of waters
A brief instant caught
As the second falters
Motionless, still
Life fleets in moments
Permanent impermanence
Resurging in waves
All silent but the change
Bells sound distant
They summon up shrill
Through the quick moving morrows
They count breathing lives
Of ravens reaching out

They beat fast
The heart’s pulsations
At the throat
Like a bird
When the clipped wings have grown back
First flight to freedom
The changes
They don’t come easy
Twenty-three
Unfolding
The coils twisting and turning
Forging another
Decoded
Secrets of my spine
Talk wonders
Surging heat
Skirmishes as I retreat
Time for peace not war
I am sword
Forged in cool iron
Liquefied
Blue matter
Beaten upon life’s ridges
My cutting edges
Create word
Says my inner voice

She sits calm
Pondering life’s ways
As Time flows
Like rivers
Our souls go through highs and lows
In dancing waters
Sometimes fast
Sometimes inching ants
We let rants
Broken past
Separate our hearts that beat
Quick admit defeat
The knowledge
It comes slow steady
Into minds
Waking souls
Of the chosen few ready
To live on the edge
He lived thrill
His words harsh mouth shrill
Skull beating
The heart numb
Errors of past repeating
His memory played dumb
We light skies
With crazed fireflies’ glow
Or dead stars
Throbbing lies
Bursting out of mind’s control
To clean mess takes hours
The clock sighs
As it counts seconds
Turning slow
Centuries
Two were to bear it the flame
Now one scurries lame
Phantom twin
Runs lone for the win
Ghostly foot
Joins the race
In pairs we face less disgrace
Battered time relay
He turns meek
His lessons now learnt
The soul burnt
Forged by change
He offers strong other cheek
Forgiveness not strange
Each other’s
Tutor and pupil

Dragon creed
Our wings are shelter
For the weak
Our souls meek
We shun the glitz and glitter
Though we’re born of stars
The old code
Is more than adage
Not mere tale
Past glory
We have none to assuage
That time may erode
Soul swollen
Eternal homage
Bursts in me
Thwarted plea
Now forgotten I don’t flee
The waking moments
Bosoms bare
The heart of thunder
You wonder
Why not fear
The shield is but for the feud
No destiny’s spear
Knave and lewd
They gather hell’s fire
Rake fallen
Spew desire
There is a riddle I admire
She says it on Nile
We crawl slow
Then we stand proud tall
Before age
And fate’s weight
Curb in us the springy gait
And three are our legs
We cover
Our humanity
And frailty
Saucy words
Invisibility’s cloak
Weapons of the mind
There is truth
In between the lies
Where we find
Redemption

I looked at myself
Within a shadow of frames
Nothing defined me
I looked through myself
Within inner lights’ workings
Everything I was
Sparse in all spaces
A sketch of what was to be
Grown into being
Density of sorts
Popping Russian wooden dolls
One within other
Unwinding layers
Wavering and flickering
Discovering all
A process of sight
Juxtaposition of all
The whispering clues
No process of change
Yet sight itself mutated
Embodied transfers
Axis slow dragged me
On a path of renewal
Soul’s petals unwrapped
I am no longer
Only was all that will be
All that ever was
Water in ocean
The inward switching outward
Ocean in a mole
Transient mutating
Permanent lasting stable
All that lies beneath
The time bound facing
Finding discovering bright
The timeless unwound

Wading its way up
Into winter horizons
The sun reeked of change
Shadow of moon wept
Translucent mark in the skies
Ghost of yesterday
Your heart slow stammered
Strong were the upcoming tides
That would wash ashore
Rejoice for this pause
The calm before the storm’s dark
Winter will see through
Spring will speak of peace
In the whispers of the leaves
Growing on brown stems
Blue flowers will bloom
Upon the reddened meadows
Contrast of colours
Hearts will know of green
Beating under lush crimson
Metamorphosis
In between faces
Recognition but a sign
Renewal of Times
Summer will breathe bliss
Lazy hays that stretch outwards
Into new spaces
In between the cracks
Rivers of yesteryears’ gloom
Surfacing bubbles
The day will break night
Glorious winged serenity
Guardian of the realms
Bubbles will burst breath
Rancid spots on sheet of white

Just a short post to remind those who were not aware that this the first full moon on Christmas Eve since 38 years.
This is also a Time for letting go and renewal, a time for recovering soul memory so I am sharing a short vocal memo prayer from Dreamtime with all of you and hope you will like it however nonsensical it may seem to you. May our Hearts be strong for the Times ahead and may the knowledge that Dawn comes after the darkest point of the Night instill more courage into our hearts.
