Mist of dawn surrounds

Throbbing awakening land

As heat meets the cool

Fire melts the icy thoughts

That built frozen cathedrals

Hiss of water starts

Pipes gorged with well’s new findings

Soak the earth with life

Burgeoning thoughts open worlds

Cloaked in pure simplicity

Vibrating waves stir

Patterns formed by misty drops

Circles of pure light

Inundating mind with sight

Infinite rays twirl centered

Parched leaves’ crackling voice

Responds to naked foot’s touch

Sands receive the dust

As the last bits would shatter

Weeds covered the grass

As the garden ran wild, free

Into confusion

Thoughts helter skelter scattered

Into unkempt tomorrows

A black beetle crawled

Feeling into moving weight

Slowly tucked away

I pack thoughts into bundles

Semblance of orderly tides

Flowers in stacks piled

Petals blooming out of ranks

Luminous arrays

Within my chest rows of light

To darkened thorns spoke silent

Silver moon stared grim

Into crescent’s stirring light

Distant sunrays shine

A glimmer of hope dives far

Flowers bloomed sunkissed

With the glory of mornings

Shining in the dark

Iridescent lips whisper

Secrets of a fleeting night

Sheltering rains poured

Blue lakes’ crimson waters flowed

Violet locks swirled

One lasting embrace of love

That outlived journey onward

I opened my veins

To an existence that leads

Beyond this unreal

Reaching further into truth

In a place where dark meets light

Sun bled tomorrow

On a waning, withered cheek

That spoke quiet sleep

Winter’s calm all of ice clad

Shrill and piping psalmodies

A love’s litany

My heart beats your thoughts

Endless remembrance of pulse

Earth out of axis

Flung helpless out of balance

Craves your healing touch

Soul in unison cries out

For the waves of your embrace

White lambs flock silent

Into darkness of gulley

A shrine’s offering

I walk, my own sacrifice

Into churning dark tempests

The peacock cries loud

Shredded tail plucked one by one

Past token of love

I search for your lost totems

Within every lost Feather

Lands scorched by heat waves

Search for streams to quench their thirst

Though water falters

Chilled by your hesitation

Mind heeds not scorching embers

Seedlings struggle out

The cracks they can escape through

Ring through the night’s thickened dark

As the owl hoots on

Wisdom, knowledge, ringing knells

Of death of time and its birth

Light shimmers through dark

Iridescent pallid shine

All at once strong, weak

Bosom deep with shallow tides

Joins dance of listless shadows

Dark and light they play

The waves of transformation

Talk me into else

As inside one listens thrilled

To whispering lisping tongue

Change will stand sullen

Until you’ve explored fully

No clouds barred a starless sky

Cloaked in still silence

Muffled thoughts in hooded mind

Spoke not inner wanderings

Dropping seven veils

In Earth’s anticipation

Of oncoming floods

Eye looked upon surging light

Soul bracing itself opened

Photons flew through air

Sky split with bursts of sunlight

Melancholy in their voice

Mere semblance of choice

Bodies may misrepresent

Inner choice of mind and soul

Tides renewed highs, lows

Ever returning to source

Where deep meets shallow

Inward, outward, light and dark

Weak, strong; one coin two faces

Sand seeped through my toes

Neverlasting steadiness

Of fading times’ strength

Wills willed hard, souls clung, boughs broke

Earth shivered out of motion

Banyan trees reached out

Strong wooden arms lifted up

Inviting fibres

Connected synapses rushed

Its salty water drenched all

With crusts of white foam

As memories flowed silver

Birds nuzzled in pairs

As they basked in springtime sun

Their sharp beaks entwined

Like a thorn you, my twin, reached

Delving in my hidden suns

Seeds scattered on ground

Fed upon by winged ones

Wilted nurturing

Chest that consoled you once dried

Ne’er bosom you rested on

Birds flew to soft nest

That twig by twig they composed

Like an ode to love

Songs of yonder golden days

My fleeting thoughts keep astray

Moon and sun relayed

Lessons blue gold red glitter

Distant hearts throbbed still
