First light opened skies
Night’s sky lent itself to blue
As the sun renewed
Awakening spleen moved hue
Ice clad dark loosened its grip

Wild jasmine renewed
Into summer’s heat it shone
New buds blossomed white
In mind’s renewal lies light
Shining through waves’ distortion
Untouched they flourished
Blooming through the heat and dust
A bright wall of scent

Ran upwards from spirit’s palm
Defying physics
Challenge to set intentions
Opened reservoirs of grace
Spring fresh gushed onwards
Streams forming in its light trail

Elevated concepts rose

Their voices echo of plight
As they hit the ground
Resounding thud in my mind
Speaks of reaching new levels
