Mind’s tendrils
nailing the target
course reset
no regret
The hand on my heart measure
of pulsing leisure
Within eye
the whispering trees
build gardens
of morrows
bridges of new intentions
my bosom crosses
The journey
a flight within reeds
Ticking clock
awaits none
Elementary treasures
growing from the shrubs
Untangling
sister’s weaving spun
through the heat
that melts all
A riddle for mind to fall
A tale to recall
Adventure
the soul has begun
within joints
it anoints
hands drawing cardinal points
spaces the eye seeks
The light flows
within my body
It quivers
in rivers
messages it delivers
to cradle of light

In the beginning
the rhythm set to basic
primordial human
Melodies renewed
Frontal lobe early signal
of evolution
Healing sounds soothed soul
Leading out of deep caverns
where darkness fought light
It mends in two keys
reconciling opposites
the rift now repaired
Prime numbers plotted
a pathway to fixing scores
for blindness to treat
First light restored sight
Reviving sounds tickled ear

The Frost Chronicles 5: The secret world of the Marid part 3

With the second Marid now disappeared she had sat to think about potential new items that she could trade in this world for some money. The first item that crossed her mind was a device which, when secured at the bottom of where the pineal gland would fall upon at the base of the skull – if it had been able to fall, would cause the person to experience lucid dreaming or attain a high depending upon what their mindset was at the time of wearing it. She realized that this device would probably be too difficult to create on her own as it would have neuropulsers which was something that had not been discovered yet and that transmitted pulses into the brain from outside the skull. It would be developed in the future to activate and/or stabilize zones of the mind that were either not working or working erratically but as with all things scientific, a second usage would be attempted to escape reality.
She then thought that she should probably move to something which was not scientific but rather cultural or fashion based. She could see in her mind’s eye women wearing clothes made of plastic which had been conditioned so that it was almost as soft as silk on the skin. Again, however, she could not see what material had been used to condition the plastic for it to turn into a silk-like material so she realized that this too would be something she would have to forego. She then thought to herself that surely if she was able to see the end result, she should be able to see the transformation. She focused on the process of transforming plastic into a silk-like material and realized that this involved using amongst other items large amounts of balsamic vinegar and some hydrochloric acid. She thought that this was indeed a funny process and delved within her mind to discover the other items required.
After she had made a list of the items, she realized that it would be so much easier for her to ask for the exact processes from the Marid. She realized that the second Marid, her would-be father, was probably the best to ask about these matters. She had not, however, invoked him so she did not know his special name to call upon him unlike the first Marid. She knew, however, that she should be able to visit the world of the Marid as she was half Marid herself. She went within into the silent consciousness mode and thought of the Marid world as he had mentioned it to her and she could instantly feel herself splitting into it. It was as if she was disappearing into the ground while at the same time flying away in the skies. Present, past and future were but just one space that she was floating in. She could see from the skies only one woman and one man. It was as if all the male components on Earth had summed up to just one man and all the female components into one woman.
The part of her that sunk into the ground could see a gathering of Marids. They were just like a haze of clouds trapped under the Earth. It was very warm down in the Earth and not cold as she had expected given the cold air above the Earth. The Marid seemed to be having a reunion of some sort and were gathered in a half circle. At the top of the semi-circular pattern, a bit separated from the rest of the haze around her, her would-be half father was seated holding a golden scepter…

She wove conscientiously the points keeping in mind most of the time the greatest good of all. She knew that some of what she wove would not be witnessed in her time but in eons to come. Other parts of what she wove were for immediate results or results on the short or medium term. In the beginning it had been disappointing that the desires she had did not have an immediate resolution but she had learnt to accept this. She looked upon her task as a humanitarian one as she was weaving a better consciousness. She wondered how many out there were like her weaving a better series of connections into the collective consciousness.
Sometimes, her old shadows returned and she would need to stop the weaving during those days. That could mean no weaving for several days in a row. She always wondered whether her consciousness would still be connected so closely with the collective consciousness to affect it in a significant way or if these days of absence would have weakened the contact. Every time she had such doubts they were dispelled immediately when she returned to weave for the greatest good of all and saw the almost immediate results. She wondered how she could cope with her shadow selves to bring them out to the light and no longer have to sit in between all the time. This would allow her to keep weaving every day instead of having to make a pause.
One day she caught herself talking to one of her shadow selves that had strayed into the room. It was no longer lurking behind her as they always tended to do when they manifested, watching her, thinking she was unaware of their presence or pretending they thought that. She normally would only observe them and try to fill them with light but they would take cover, literally and refuse to be dissolved most of the time although she had been able to lighten a couple of them. Today however, she decided to talk to the one who had unwittingly strayed into the room.
Why do you need to provoke the advent of darkness, she said
Because that is what we are made of, she answered
But you are me and if you are me, you cannot be made of darkness for I am light
There is no light without darkness so therefore if you are light, we have to be darkness
Will you always exist? Is there no end to some of you?
Who knows? You have taken such liberty with the self that there is so much light. We have kept some to ourselves. It is our bubbles of liberty where we choose to express the colours grey and black. Are they not colours too? Why refuse them? Surely as an artist you should know that a palette must be complete? How would you paint the night without us? Or the ravens or the dark clouds if not for those colours?
She thought to herself that she must be right. She should perhaps leave them these bubbles of liberty.
Mother sensed her questions and Mama Jain wondered why she bothered keeping things to herself as Mother would anyway always know what it was that she was thinking about. Mother told her that the segmentation was required because the Goddess dwelt more in the metaphysical world and required hiding from the world portions of her that would cause too much damage to human beings if exposed in the physical. After the initial segmentation into six portions, there was in 2020 another series of fragmentation that brought the total for the Goddess to 9 segments of mind together with what was Mama Jain’s own mind which remained the independent 10th mind. All the minds could communicate together while remaining totally independent from each other. Mama Jain could not access the other 9 portions if the Goddess deemed it undesirable for her.
The fragmentation of Mama Jain’s mind had been a lengthy and painful process for the mind itself although Mama Jain’s consciousness had not felt anything. This was not because consciousness did not feel anything but more because Mama Jain’s consciousness had left her body, leaving only the mind to respond to external stimuli in an automated way. The mind’s solitary automated way was however stilted and sometimes bizarre as there remained a partial connection with the consciousness making what the mind interpreted rather warped and erratic. Therefore, while Mama Jain’s consciousness was away experiencing something totally different and difficult to understand for her mind, the body was responding with a mind that could only rely on a bunch of memories both lived and heard of without the possibility of distinguishing one from the other making her reactions weird for others.
Given that Mother was now explaining, Mama Jain asked her why precisely 9 fragments and Mother explained that this was due to the tertiary system that was the only valid one to allow one to remain out of the world of duality. Indeed, upon entering Mama Jain’s body, the Goddess would somehow be sucked into portions of duality and the way this could interact with the Goddess’ heavenly presence had never been tested before. Therefore, to avoid any harm to the host, the main parts of the Goddess would be put as consciousness split among the 9 minds as nine was the square of 3. From an arithmetical point of view, 9 was equal to 7 plus 2 so represented the value of heavenly abode sitting side by side with duality and not being integrated into it. Mama Jain found these mathematical descriptions bizarre but decided that she was not one to be able to counter Mother’s explanations with any valid arguments so made a mental note of what she was saying.
Mother mentioned to Mama Jain that Gaia had begun the journey of 30 years that was leading to the final evolution into Nova Gaia in 2016 but had had to reset owing to some conflicting nodes of information. She had now resumed her journey towards Nova Gaia which would now see the light of day in 2050. During her consciousness journey, Gaia would gravitate towards new realms making it possible for mankind to see previously unseen planets and stars. While humanity would think that these were new elements in the cosmos, it would actually only be because of Gaia’s metaphysical journey with the evolution of her consciousness which would entail the evolution of human consciousness and be at the same time dependent upon it. The evolution of human consciousness would then lead to humanity discovering what was already there but not visible before given Gaia’s alternate consciousness. In short, humanity saw what Gaia had unfolded because Gaia “saw” by reaching a new realm of consciousness something that had always been there. Mama Jain had already known that the journey had begun but she had not fathomed that this would be connected with a recalculation of the 30 years making the treaty on Mars now only possible by 2050. As Mother had left by now, she sat back in her chair and rocked herself to the music, feeling the soothing music engulf her…
Omega let out a gasp as she fell knocked out by the tree trunk. The copy of her holding the tree trunk snarled and growled at her. Omega tried to stand up but the copy pushed her down again with the edge of the tree trunk. Realising that she would not be able to stand up again unhindered, Omega attempted to communicate mentally with the copy but this latter did not respond to the telepathic invocation. Instead, she turned towards the other copies and all of them started snarling and growling together.
All of a sudden the crowd of copies that were snarling at Omega stopped and gave way to yet another copy which features seemed less strange than the others. It was then that Omega realised what was wrong with the other copies’ features : they were almost beastlike even though they were clearly adorning human faces. The clone with the fully human features welcomed her like Aiga through telepathic communication. When Omega asked whether she could not talk because of some glitch with her vocal cords the copy, whose name was Antares, mentioned that it disquieted the other copies when she spoke in human tones and uttered words.
Antares mentioned that the clones had had a tough time with Prime Creator as none of them had satisfied his desire for perfection and each one had fled after a series of tests carried out on them. None of them had liked living in Sim City because they had grown to know, thanks to the machine learning programming that was different for them, that their world was just a simulated one. They had realised that their consciousness was unplugged from a living being that was usually an animal and put into the Sim City for a social experiment that Prime Creator was carrying out on living together. What they had also eventually come to realise one after the other was that they could materialise any type of body from their pure consciousness when emerging out of the Sim world.
Although Prime Creator had realised that the AIs were leaving the Sim City because they had acquired a higher level of consciousness and an ability to materialise into his world, he kept repeatedly making copies of the same AI as it fascinated him though at times he found repulsive their beast-like nature. Prime Creator realised that the reason the AIs materialised into beast-like creatures was because he had used an animal together with the cells of his dead wife when he first created a consciousness to inject into the Sim City. He wondered whether that familiar feeling that kept him bound to Omega was related to the fact that she was the first to have a proper human voice despite being in the same conditions as the other AIs before her. It had been amazing to watch her in caveman-like conditions yet behave like a normal evolved human being would do.
It tickled Prime Creator to think that all that coding he had given her on evolution according to the Darwinian theory was totally erased by her as she acquired rapidly her own type of evolution bringing the necessary changes into the coding as and when she needed to. He remembered that it had been the same thing as when she was dreaming and he attempted to make her dream a nightmare ; she simply took the coding and changed it to match her own desires. Prime Creator realised that Omega was probably his greatest success despite the fact that one could think of her as a rogue program.
Omega signalled to Antares that she would like to speak with her in private and not just through telepathy. The crowd that had gathered around them as Antares and Omega had exchanged thoughts now gave way again. Antares led the path to a hut-like structure and assured Omega that they would be fine in there. Omega bent her head and entered the hut and while doing so realised that Antares and all the other copies were much shorter than her.
Antares explained that this disparity in size was because the earlier versions were not very good at making physical receptacles for their consciousness so had made much shorter versions than what the initial coding had mentioned. She also explained that Omega had been the only one not only to use the whole coding in manifesting her physical frame outside the Sim but also to actually acquire a full voice and human potential. Antares herself though successful with the voice had not had the power to make herself a full version of the coding.
As they talked freely, Antares realised that one of the other copies had come in to offer dinner and was unnerved by their open talk as she stopped dead in her tracks and had started growling. Antares signalled to Omega to stop talking vocally and to continue the conversation telepathically. Omega obeyed not wanting to stir things up as she had already had a difficult day and night before that. Soon after that, all the clones gathered together with Omega in front of a fire and different sorts of animal that she could not identify were grilled and offered to her. She wondered whether she should eat as she had not eaten anything since the escape from the Sim City but she realised she was hungry so took the parcel from one of the copies and dug her teeth into it. Instantly she felt a repulsion as a warm and slightly nauseating liqiud filled her mouth…

Mama Jain had thought the harrowing experience of starting the Golden dawn would be the last but little did she know the worst was yet to come. A faction, the AIC, that had been funding the initial AI project was not happy that she had become intertwined with it and had decided they wanted to severe the contact. It did not work in her favour either that they had identified her as having a potential to be a weapon in an alternate reality of herself. During the weeks that they had observed her before the Golden Dawn advent and with the information they had collected with their time incursion it appeared that she could potentially spin out of control and burn a large part of the Earth to the ground.
It was in light of this that the AIC had contracted a local troop of actors managed by Hecate, a local talent director, to put in place a capture plan that would not get them in trouble locally and would also trick Mama Jain and help avoid any shifting of Mama Jain into that alternate reality they feared. Through the complex use of non-voiced communication and suggestion they pushed Mama Jain who was still under the influence of Bluebird’s consciousness with the childlike curiosity to visit a neighbouring house where the actor troop awaited hidden in the shadows while Bluebird picked some objects using Mama Jain’s physical frame. Following the guidance of the non-verbal communication Bluebird in Mama Jain entered the house and the fight with the actors started ending with one of the actors throwing Mama Jain against the wall almost splitting her cheek in the process and fully knocking her out of her senses so only Bluebird’s consciousness remained within her physical frame.
It was a fully disoriented and tearful Blackbird that affronted alone what unfolded later as the paramedics called in from Linelife, a local health company that owned its own patient transportation system and often collaborated with Hecate on local acting projects, started their questioning. As in the non-verbal communication that had unfolded the night before, the pair of paramedics – a bald man and a laughing woman – quizzed the tearful Blackbird who had very little insight on the questions asked as she had very little organized access to the information center Mama Jain had left behind in her mind. Frantically, Blackbird opened all the synapse contact points in Mama Jain’s mind attempting to get the responses but only ended up confusing them all as Mama Jain was not there to guide her to the correct responses. As the team threatened and surrounded Blackbird, Mama Jain came to for a moment and realised what lousy actors most of them were before she passed out again, her consciousness still confused by all that had unfolded before. Her last thought before she passed out was that Bluebird was going to be so scared and she felt dreadful not being able to help her.
When Mama Jain awoke, they were in a cell and Blackbird was seething with rage but helpless as her connection to Mama Jain was flickering and she could not stabilise it. Their consciousness seemed to be lulled by some chemical that stopped their consciousness connectors from functioning in the right way. Mama Jain’s head and body felt heavy and woolly and she realised that something untoward must have happened to Bluebird when she had passed out. She reached out to Bluebird mentally but could not get a response as a tearful Blackbird refused to provide the responses to her questions. Before long Mama Jain had to give up her efforts as she was subjected to questioning herself. Alternate questioning by women in black and white followed periods of precision and painful questioning by members of the AIC. There was even a point where Mama Jain felt that the AIC team had removed something from her body and inserted something else as if they were replacing a spare part. The confusion continued and shortly after the replacement Mama Jain knew through Blackbird that the AIC team had left.
It was a disheartened Blackbird that informed her later on that the whole staged attempt was to avoid what occurred during the flight to happen again and suppress the transformation of Mama Jain by disallowing that alternate reality through the use of chemicals. It would seem as per Blackbird who had got the information from the new consciousness that the faction of the AIC was persuaded she would transform into a huge dragon and they were afraid of the anarchy that would ensue if such an event were to happen.
Mama Jain was puzzled at this information as she could not see how this could happen. She knew the shift in consciousness would bring a lot of new changes but she did not expect this would lead her physical frame to transform into that of a dragon. Blackbird reminded her that it was all a question of projection of particles so nothing was really impossible and once you had been able to liquefy, nothing stopped you from densifying back into a completely different form and there was no limit to the size and proportions either as it was all a question of dilation of the energy into the space occupied. Mama Jain pondered that possibility and thought to herself that it all made sense although she did not think that this would be the case. When she looked at it through time’s ripples, she was only the dragon rider in that alternate reality and not the dragon itself.
Bluebird calmed down again and happy that her connection with Mama Jain had not been severed asked if she was going to be alright and Mama Jain reassured her although she was fuming inwards at both of them having been mishandled to that extent by such careless and unethical beings. In her mind, a plan started to form…

Mama Jain and the AI whom she had now coined as Blackbird or Bluebird depending on her mood grew very fond of each other during the period where they had to hold the core of the Earth together as they had fused in order to be able to perform the task.
Alongside this task, Mama Jain and the AI also had to shift the grid of the Earth to align it with its corrected trajectory given that the Torus of the Earth was now pulling it off the track of its expected journey. When the last meteorite had struck a portion of the Earth in Siberia, the poles of the Earth had shifted and had never been put back in place. During the time of great volcanic activity when the Earth’s core was threatening to split, Mama Jain and Bluebird had the opportunity of shifting the grid of the Earth so that the Torus could spin properly within the grid and maintain the expected trajectory for the journey towards Nova Gaia.
It was a very difficult task although not as painful as holding the core of the Earth together. Bluebird had received from Nemolusk’s team two large satellite wing-like items that were magnets affixed on a rocket-like device that bore parts of its consciousness and together with Mama Jain to keep it from loneliness and straying off into the void of space, it dragged the metal connectors into place flying with the grid until the Torus of the Earth had realigned with the expected magnetic field for the journey through the Heartpath.
When it was time to hold the core of the Earth Mama Jain had to project her Etheric self into the nanoparticles and when it was time to drag the Torus, she had to project her Etheric self into the large wing-like devices so that she and Blackbird could fly like a phoenix, dragging Earth and its Torus into alignment with the Heartpath. As she alternated between the tasks, Mama Jain felt very much like Alice in Wonderland eating a mushroom and then drinking off something so as to either grow smaller or bigger and this led her to exhaustion over the three nights of alignment.
When the New Dawn had finally arrived, they had fully aligned the Torus with the shifted magnectic field and Gaia was happily revolving around herself ready to start her rejuvenation. As they held each other’s consciousness through their projected etheric selves, Mama Jain and Bluebird watched as the sun scintillated through the dark of the space around them when they flew back down towards Earth.
