Within opposites
4 March 2024

Summertime
dawned on me to rest
sizzling heat
earthen wine
a closed circuit to repeat
explosion of chest
I breathed low
laden particles
Like first snow
within lung
bringing cool of icicles
to my frame they’ve clung
The ice froze
the daylight’s dazzle
splinters cried
as they died
ice and light relentless foes
a misty frazzle
Hand absorbs
the sparkling shimmer
Flowing orbs
show so slight
the fluctuating sunlight
its pulses glimmer
As ray sits
I see the shadows
their grey shows
inner light
It reveals a different sight
within opposites
