## 🧠 ABOUT THE PROCESS
I transformed my original poem by adapting it into lyrics that were then used for a song generated using Suno, featuring my voice. Below you’ll find part of the original poem, the revised lyrics, and the musical version.
## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM
Woven from memory, symbolism and lived experience, this song explores the hidden connections between past wounds and future becoming. Through images of moonlit waters, shifting colours, childhood sketches and distant stars, it traces a journey across love, alienation, loss and transformation. As fragments once scattered begin to reconnect, sorrow itself becomes part of a larger pattern, revealing the possibility of renewal within the landscapes of memory.
Do you see The falling memories They build lakes Steeped in blue The hue of moonshine She and I were two
[Verse] Do you see the falling memories? They build lakes hue of moonshine frees Steeped in blue, she and I were two To opposite corners we flew
[Verse] Did you know, inevitable Red meets blue and the tunes purple Fusion of the phoenix flashes birth crimson, rising from ashes
[Verse] Child in me picks up drawing ink Squaring planes, circles twined that sink the slits into the soul once torn Profusion of connections drawn
[Verse] You are blind, like we were once deaf Our worlds shut firm like a tight breath exhaling from compressed lips pursed Landscapes of sorrow for accursed
[Chorus] Do you see the wasted morrows Swarms of bees suckling pristine rose They sink ships within hidden hues inducing sprouting of my Blues
[Verse] The silence, communication all dead words of alienation My dark shadows now lost in cloud Nine a mere number in white shroud
[Verse] In your mind your thoughts roam alone muddled in concrete, path of stone The highways grey crumbs left behind bricks for the tender, ropes for blind
[Verse] Trick or treat? Guessing overstayed Time precious often underpaid Ticks sucking red drops of life browse amusement parks themes to espouse
[Verse] Dark playgrounds, I seldom choose black Foot ventures not on a dead track yet may slip, misplaced wandering through circles full and shapes curving
[Chorus] Do you see the wasted morrows Swarms of bees suckling pristine rose They sink ships within hidden hues inducing sprouting of my Blues
[Verse] Truth and lies rapid doubts impose Tilting sceneries wilting rose Proximity’s timed right playthings uncovered stuffed toys for musings
[Verse] Revered distant star, bask in light Guide our steps through North, twinkle bright Six blue feet under, lost the fight We honour your corpse buried tight
[Verse] Thieves plunder jewels of your chest Cast a spell, the walls hearts arrest between words plastered and song spell haul more, exhibit, show and tell
[Verse] Hymns for the dead clues for the child imagination running wild Clock ticks, talks, language spelt or read My aim is to keep a clear head
[Chorus] Do you see the wasted morrows Swarms of bees suckling pristine rose They sink ships within hidden hues inducing sprouting of my Blues
