There is a new place for women

A wall rose up in the desert
through flickers that flames would assert
the blaze played on like a concert
a wane backdrop for their feelings

The Earth braced for oncoming change
quakes removed them from shooting range
Adversaries land would estrange
Consciousness would repair damage

I saw my thoughts and words still rhymed
The bell for sisterhood now chimed
Sorority sessions well timed
There is a new place for women
