Regret to rehearse

Regret to rehearse

The memory

Pregnant with silence

Fluttering

Inside heart

There is a fork where we part

Twining in futures

They speak soft

Of renewed endings

Rising high

Skidding fast

I lurch beyond my own past

Of broken treasures

Unchained hymns

Sing to my bosom

Chances slim

Where I meet

The tidings of our defeat

Suspended in air

The waves roll

Breaking on the shores

Where they flee

Thoughts that breathed

Invented by you and me

A world sprawled hopeful

We kill dreams

Mindless death’s tailors

Sewing firm

Soul will squirm

We merely tighten the seams

Threads pins and scissors

My mind blank

A throbbing beat haunts

Heart that sank

Into spleen

While everyday wiping clean

Memory of the taunts

Careless hands

They shuffle shaking

A loose deck

Where cards curse

Folly of their own making

Regret to rehearse

Does it speak

Of broken morrows

The stilled mind

Chilling Heart

Polar experiences

Lurking in the dark

I gather

Twigs and worn pages

All fire warmth

Chimneys smoke

Fading thoughts that I invoke

A life pressed in blue

I blow hard

Rekindling ashes

Under the grey

Red simmers

Volcanic eruptions bleed

What once could have been

There is dust

On my fingertips

Raging winds

That mouth quips

Lift but the blinding spent sands

Leaving million more

I shake snow

In glass of seconds

White my slate

Empty store

There is nothing in slain grains

No yeast to raise bread

Dancing queen

Shimmers with the shake

As I rake

Garden leaves

With lost stories my chest heaves

Untold for undead

Scattered breath

Gathers me within

Chest heaving

Soul cleaving

Remnants of threads strewn across

Rosary and cross

Memory’s pallor visiting Honfleur

Defining under vacuum of law of heart taken

Sleeping under the aegis of a prankster spirit

Unalterable flower dislocated survival

A hint of misguiding to stir outcry

Smothering guide of my wildest desires

Hugging wrinkles and surprising pain

Making spleen a tutor and dowsing warmth

There is no sister to the soul that rises

From deadly sweats definitions are born

Hitting for hours on the i that rises

Eternal tunes suicidal forgetfulness

Speaking the heart and living the way I die

The solemn dances insipid to please
