The purple at dusk

The purple at dusk

Square circles

Blend in my footsteps

The suns rise

In winters

When the tides set in rivers

Knocking at my door

They were four

Liquid symphonies

They rode on

Beyond breeze

Their breath and fire lit trees

Pathways of cinder

Water came

Flowed into broiled game

We knew not

How to tame

Raging of fire and flow

The split and splinter

Shards of rain

Swept away masses

Needle’s eye

Forgave not

The slightest remnant of thought

Borne within the fear

Bask in pain

Sunlight reminder

When we wake

To mistake

Morrows shadow our past tense

Wickers of pretense

The woods lie

Down by the river

Where the hearts

Still quiver

Sound of music invading

The purple at dusk

  1. stunning photo that accompanied this really nice write. I particularly enjoyed:

    “Morrows shadow our past tense
    Wickers of pretense”

    Write On!

    • Thanks Wuji. I record the poem on my phone and then send it to my email from where I download it to my laptop (you can skip the merry-go-round if you can add directly items from your phone to your blog) and then add it like when you add images (add new option in the media insertion of the posts)

        • Thank you. You should try on yours, it would be quite the thing. Well the reason I started doing it is because sometimes people misconstrue what I mean which might be corrected by the reading (or not :D). Sometimes I read it in a way that is different from what I am meaning, just playfully 🙂 I usually have hidden meanings which show when you tie the words from different verses in a certain way.
