Snowfall
1 September 2016

Snowfall streaks
Remnants of ashes
Softly fall
Like garlands
Forming on my face islands
Of memories of you
Snowfall speaks
Bitter reckonings
Dissolved slow
In passing
The Time wound back trespassing
The unholy gates
Snowfall reeks
Of unwritten rhyme
Hours spent
Pantomime
Desecrating unseen strings
Renewing the wings
Reading of the poem:

Ashes and snow – Gregory Colbert recited by Laurence Fishburne (English), Ken Watanabe (Japanese), and Enrique Rocha (Spanish)

beautiful poem…cheers
Thank you. Cheers
The snow in the countryside brings excitement and joy; the snow in the city brings melancholy. Beautiful poem, Geetha.
Thank you Inese. Strange right, how the same thing can bring on a different perspective 🙂
At least for me it is true. I always distinguish these two snowfalls 🙂
I like snow in absolute, regardless of where it is 🙂
Yes, isn’t it something exquisite? Not just a glorified rain 🙂
It is. I love the sense of silence that accompanies the snowfall. When all traces are slowly wiped out and only the white shines across the landscapes 🙂
Amazing video. Wonderful post Geetha.
Thanks a lot. I am glad when people appreciate the videos. They strike me as well suited most of the time 🙂
Beautiful imagery
Thank you Derrick 😊
