Days go by

Like centuries spin

Outnumbered

Cornered wolves

Grope at chances woven thin

Revolution’s din

The heart sways

Cacophony’s ways

Imprinting

Blood vessels

Sailing within like mermaids

The sea shore pervades

Thoughts of you

Hovering like breath

Life and Death

Tilting point

When connection is disjoint

Broken synapses

Relapses

Like a cancer grow

Fabrics tear

From the wear

The Heart a thousand beats counts

Before it kick starts

Drilling might

One one thousand clear

Flesh surmounts

Massive dose

Liquid breath on my repose

Tears streaming backwards

Flight onwards

The pull and the push

I am Void

I am Light

Within me lies every fight

Simmers like embers

Night-bred haunt

Lurking in passage

To nowhere

The ship sails

Passengers in vests no tails

Shortened evenings

The bell rings

Reminder of call

To children

Huddled small

Inside my bosom’s stairs flight

Beseeching the light

Pass through me

I am needle’s eye

Pulsating

With keen sight

All without now stark blindness

Only morrows’ fight

Villainy

An art of living

The words dark

The craft deaf

Resonance but lonely theft

Forming the letters

Breath fetters

When guided by voice

Sunken deep

Into heap

Of sporadic movements sly

Catcher of the rye

Taste heavy

Laden with the guilt

Egregious

Waverings

To hate people but love things

Dissolute matter

Do you see?

Do you see?

Do you see

The falling memories

They build lakes

Steeped in blue

The hue of moonshine

She and I were two

Did you know

Inevitable

Red meets blue

Purple tunes

The fusion of the phoenix

Rising from ashes

Child in me

Picks up drawing ink

Squaring planes

Circles twined

Profusion of connections

Slits into the soul

You are blind

Like we were once deaf

Our worlds shut

Like tight breath

Exhaling from compressed lips

Landscapes of sorrow

The silence

Communication

All dead words

In white shroud

My dark shadows lost in cloud

Nine a mere number

In your mind

Your thoughts roam alone

Path of stone

Ropes for blind

Highways grey crumbs left behind

Bricks for the tender

Trick or treat

Guessing overstayed

Underpaid

Time precious

Ticks sucking red drops of life

Amusement parks themes

Dark playgrounds

I seldom choose black

Shapes curving

Circles full

Foot ventures not on dead track

Misplaced wanderings

Truth and lies

Tilting sceneries

Wilting rose

Doubts impose

Proximity’s timed playthings

Stuffed toys for musings

Bask in light

Revered distant star

Twinkle bright

Lost the fight

We honour your corpse buried

Six blue feet under

Thieves plunder

Jewels of your chest

Show and tell

Cast a spell

Between words plastered and song

The walls hearts arrest

Clock ticks talks

Language spelt or read

Hymns for dead

Clues for child

Imagination runs wild

My aim in clear head

Do you see

The wasted morrows

They sink ships

Hidden hues

Swarms of bees suckling pristine

Sprouting of my Blues

Walking on eggshells

Toiling through the days planted

A slippery path

A parade for none

Balance maintained by sheer will

For pain to withstand

Life is always such

That calm relays agony

Rainbow to be felt

Kick off calm and dance

Raging with the elements

That battle within

Spending you in throes

Fight and you are overcome

You fight only you

Blinded spectacle

Lending itself to ashes

The blind will behold

Practising still life

A lifetime to reach the point

Of abandonment

Look into my eyes

I will raise you now my peace

For shelter you bring

Agape

AGAPE

Keeping the light, staying clean in the fight

September 1, 2010

I try with words to keep my sanity

To keep out the impulsion in me

Never to think about vengeance

Trying, awake, to make penance

But my sanity walks a tight rope

While I keep the love and hope

He jabs at me and tries so to cut

Into my insides, my poor sore gut

A bit of flesh that I may deny

All values to turn around try

To jab him back or him pierce

His side in an angle so fierce

♥

Fighting back in gut and blood

Head hung, hands in the mud

Instead I keep my head high

Reaching desperately to the sky

Trying to seize that waning light

That once shone in me so bright

And brought me always such solace

Removing of all ailments the trace

And as I fight to find, bring me back

To keep in me of such love the knack

Knowing I am still there, though slight

Flexing, crouching under this plight

I know I fight in firm and strong peace

Remembering from the ancient Greece

The word that Rumi tried so to convey

A blissful, smooth, silken word, Agape
