The Heart speaks softly – Cinematic, Indie, Trip Hop Versions | Song created with Suno (my lyrics, my voice)
16 September 2026
A woman's torso inside a mirro with the top part of her head covered in brown twigs and small roses that are closely woven over her head and her eyes. The weave comes slightly out of the mirror's frame. On the top of the mirror there is a raven. The mirror frame is round with decorations on the left and right of the mirror. The mirror is on an offwhite wall which has several small cracks all over it.

## 🧠 ABOUT THE PROCESS

I transformed my original poem by adapting it into lyrics that were then used for a song generated using Suno, featuring my voice. Below you’ll find part of the original poem, the revised lyrics, and the musical version.

## 📜 ORIGINAL POEM

The Heart Speaks Softly looks beyond the explanations with which we sometimes distance ourselves from suffering. Hands rise through the air in gestures whose stories remain untold; hunger becomes a commodity graph, while bread and compassion are relegated to afterthoughts. Amid fragments of innocence, beauty and loss, another form of perception quietly persists — the blind eye that sees beyond appearances to intention and pain. While the mind rationalises what it cannot or will not embrace, the heart asks only to be heard and does not shout above the clatter. It speaks softly.

## ✍️ ADAPTED LYRICS

[Verse]
Transient Sentient status
of my Heart, flickering spacious
Pay no heed, the killers galore
We wallow in ridicule stored

[Verse]
The absent, a status symbol
of unfed, Mouth to mouth nimble
Respiratory whims now fetch
Meanings to the touch as I retch

[Verse]
The starved clutch the remnants of chaff
Wheat fleeting commodity graph
Falling threads of a dying thought
The Bread to split an afterthought

[Chorus]
The Mind stubborn never goes where
the hands wave slow splitting the air
Blind Eye sees beyond the matter
The Heart speaks softly, no clatter

[Verse]
In sinuous lines, Beauty wrought
‘Twixt peaks of despair I forgot
Tragedy Eye opener films
a stark Liner of the dark rims

[Verse]
Bones and milky skin the look skims
Fragments disposed as per their whims
on bed of roses, Pieces torn
body Patchwork lain, the silk worn

[Chorus]
The Mind stubborn never goes where
the hands wave slow splitting the air
Blind Eye sees beyond the matter
The Heart speaks softly, no clatter
