The spiraling flights right into the sky
(original form of 15th century rondeau cinquain)

The spiraling flights right into the sky
The wuthering heights, the children that fly
The sweltering rain, the dark clouds that weep
The simmering pain, the angels that keep
Farewell into lights the soul that flies high
The thunderous nights of hearts that deny
The weakening plights of stories that try
The innocence slain downward paths too steep
The spiraling flights right into the sky
The wuthering heights, the children that fly
The sweltering rain, the dark clouds that weep
The unearthly sights of the Gods that cry
The unwritten rights the rumbling outcry
The darkening stain of the flows that seep
The memories that wane though stirrings run deep
Dry foreboding writes the shrill and the wry
The spiraling flights right into the sky
The wuthering heights, the children that fly
The sweltering rain, the dark clouds that weep
The simmering pain, the angels that keep
Farewell into lights the soul that flies high

Hi Shiva, I don’t know what’s wrong with wordpress. It’s going haywire for me. I am not able to like your posts and I keep getting directed to other posts suggested by WordPress instead of being able to follow the blogs I usually follow. Am not sure what is wrong. When I am able to I shall come back and check out your second poem. The first was lovely.
Beautifully wrought
Thank you Derrick 😀
Beautiful and a master craftsman as always. Lovely, Geetha. 🙂 ♡
Thank you Eric. Coming from a master craftsman like yourself that is quite a compliment 🙂
I haven’t listened to the audio’s just yet, but the writing is always, incredible.
Thank you Belinda 🙂 The audio is the usually wane as most of the time I make them all are sleeping
I have just listened to the three audio’s of Rumi…still taking deep breaths and enjoying its energy inside of me.
Enjoy them, they are also beautiful videos at the same time. I thought you meant the audio reading of the poem by me. I usually have to read hushed because I read during the night most of the time
They were beautiful video’s. The audio of your reading is enhanced by speaking in what you refer to as a hushed voice, I love the tone of your voice.
Thank you. I shall keep it to the night then 😀
