Of stilled memories of you
Waking past gashes
Wrists palpitating
Surge with oncoming onslaught
As your shadow reigns
Vibrating, blinding
Your presence in your absence
Distills blood in veins
Thickening streams slow
Down go oxygen levels
As air rarefies
Energy surges
Electricity grills all
Resistance in me
Breaking the dark waves

As silver moon slowly wept
The loss of its light
Goodbye passages
Walks in realms of nevermore
Lead to new morrows
Your face in my soul
Sings dark haunting melodies
That spell twists of fate
Palpable, headstrong
Electricity of you
Shivers through my frame
Inky they roll on
Like the ebb and flow of life
Ensnared I flutter
A light in the night
Shines through the sadness of loss
Breaking the dark waves
