The pond was icy

Surface a thin pane of glass

Like mirror it cracked

The gap extended

Glistening scales gleamed within

Their presence promise

A heron looked on

Slowly the surface did break

The fish would come through

The anger welled up

Within the bosom that flared

Like forest aflame

It bore no logic

Curving through the mind’s landscapes

It shattered all sense

Easing through the flames

My worded intention spun

Recreating Life

Written in the context Ronovan writes Weekly Haiku Prompt using the words Anger and Logic. See here for rules and words to  use.

The ducks are flying

Their sturdy wings an emblem

Of solidity

Wisps of airborne white

Traces of a tree shedding

All springtime’s whispers

Bosoms opening

Memories of summer hay

Open green meadows

Waterhen gliding

The reed caressed by the winds

Heartbeats in the chest

Willow tree rising

The bees humming in the sky

Afternoons of May

Summertime blue thoughts

Sprouts springing in rising mind

Catch me when I fall

North and South battle

Irreconcilable straits

Conflict in bosom

Flourishing in reed

Graceful attire of heart

Swaying to the rhythm

Solid ground denied

My soul like a wild gypsy

Yearning for travel

My heart beats softly

Everlasting tunes in soul

Pouch of bundled joy

I whirl on the Earth

My mind lost in the blue skies

Sketches of castles

Infinite passion

Within finite appearance

I am all though none

In air diluted

The wisps of springtime’s blossoms

Inconsistent ease

Small waterfalls pour

Inside my heart they gather

Derelict substance

They paired them by two

A single swan now gliding

Toward river bank

Clouds gathered above

Movement back into winter

Spring’s blossoms swaying

Waterhen clucking

Seagulls flying in the sky

The canal flowing

Spring’s fight evolving

My inner realms revolving

Around shape of things

The garden silent

The rose bush alit by thorns

Featured stems thorn birds

Wisteria clung

Otherworldly shapes of grapes

Under silver moon

Peace within our hearts

Moonlight rising in our souls

In love we gathered

Sun beyond winter

Spring’s magic in flowers’ touch

Waterhen that clucks

Branches in the stream

Tug of war of wooden limbs

Movement of water

The breath suspended

Particles alit in skies

The river racing

Ocean greets me kin

Ocean greets me kin

24 March 2020

This is not a play

Tragedy nor comedy

This is a life’s toil

I splatter the drops

The waters in rivulets

Aspire for bay

Ocean greets me kin

Movement of waves like my skin

A body of clay
