Writing Neverland
30 December 2015

I will walk alone
Through moonlit pathways to stones
Where snow will bear fruit
Fruit will taste bitter
As honey and dewdrops wane
In winter’s chilled hearth
Frozen blueberries
Rasp berries upon my frame
While wood clasps chimneys
Thawing tongue will cut
Within mind stories of flame
That ash blew to winds
Woodcutters did thrive
The age of innocence spent
Wicker braids weaker
Icicles dangle
Inner pails warm bellies flow
Gushing winterland
Broken red bangle
Shards of glass in my fingers
Writing Neverland

Perfect post defining winter!!!
Thank you!

Aww… a different kind of neverland. A beautiful series of senryus that capture melancholia so well.
May the New Year write happier stories for you! 🙂
Thank you Dajena. It is a time for letting go, almost another month still. Happy New Year to you too 🙂
I wish you all the best my friend!
Thank you my friend and to you always 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful Geetha! I think we are of like mind when it comes to writing. Happy New Year, My Friend!!
Thank you Eric. From the knight of poetry that is quite the compliment 🙂
Happy New Year to you too my Friend
Thank you so very much for the follow, Geetha! You following me is very special because you are my 1000 blog buddy and just before the year ended! Thank you very much!!!
Welcome Erika. I was checking out Ritu’s recommendations. I won’t have time to read much for a while but look forward to getting to know all your writings. The years has not ended yet, you could still get another 10 at least but just about 10 would be quite quaint for this year end 🙂
The year over here ends in 6 1/2 hours… so I am really happy you made the 1000 full!!! No worries, I understand that time problem about reading posts. I am not posting a lot during these days but I have frequent short posts daily and 2 – 3 longer posts weekly. So you will always find something on my blog 🙂 Have a great ending of the year, Geetha!
The year ends here in around 3 hours. I am looking forward to reading your posts. Enjoy the upcoming Times and I gather you must have done quite some letting go during these past weeks 🙂 Be well
Thank you for your amazing posts! Happy New Year!
Inese
