The untarnished Twelve
28 December 2015

Ashes to ashes
Blowing in the winter winds
Twelve logs now consumed
A look into past
Looking back serves no purpose
Spare New Year’s outlook
Look in bright morrows
Snow and fog will clear fresh start
Walking fifty-two
The untarnished Twelve
Logs waiting in green garden
Nourishment for fire

Thank you and welcome
I like the image. Of course, the first of my twelve untarnished logs is now singed a little. 🙂
Thank you Bun. Just unspammed your comment that had been spammed by some strange beast called Akismet on WordPress. Glad to read you now.
Thanks for launching the rescue.
Welcome 🙂
A full experience of enjoyment!
Thank you Annette 🙂

I like this idea. You can always put the ashes on the garden 🙂
🙂
This is very deep with each line of brilliant words….
Thank you Mihran for your kind words and for the beautiful video. It is truly heavenly both in images and in music 🙂
Each log a month gone (ashes now) and twelve more waiting with such promises, as we look ahead and not backwards…beautifully written, Geetha 🙂
Thank you Thomas 🙂 I just chanced upon your comment now which did not figure in my notifications (grr) I don’t know what to do with this new system of notifications because it makes one appear rude to newcomers. Thankfully usual visitors like yourself, specially if you’ve experienced it yourself, know it is probably due to this new notification problem.
You are welcome! It’s okay, Geetha, you know I understand… 🙂
I just saw your other reply Thomas, by chance. I actually realised now that those notifications that we don’t get, most of the time we are actually not able to reply to them. I guess this is a bug in the new wordpress system.
You may be right, Geetha – growing pains!
This one I saw 😉
🙂
Wonderful post. I joyously agree with your poetic words that ‘looking back serves no purpose.’ Happy New Year!
Thank you Olga and Happy New Year in advance to you as well 🙂
